An historic AFL game to be played in China.

The AFL heads overseas for a clash between two sides that punters have struggled to get a grip on so far this season.

These sides met once last season with Port Adelaide recording a comprehensive 23-point win in Round 23.

Robbie Gray was brilliant when these sides met last and he again looks to be the X-factor as the Power looks to keep their season alive. Gray had both the most goals with four and the most disposals with 34 to lead his team to an impressive victory.

Little superstar Gary Ablett has found his mojo again and will no doubt provide the Power with plenty of headaches.

Ablett was much maligned after a slow start to the season but in the past two weeks has collected 45 and 32 possessions and he could be headed for a third Brownlow Medal.

Those wanting to jump on Ablett for the Brownlow should snap up the $19 currently available with bet365. He is a much shorter quote with all other betting agencies and the Suns have a bye on the back of this so he will be freshened for matches against Melbourne, West Coast and Hawthorn in the three weeks that follow, Ablett statistically has produced big numbers against those three clubs.

Port Adelaide must win this game. At times this season they have looked a legitimate contender and the only three games they have lost this season have been to arguably the best three teams in the competition in Adelaide, Greater Western Sydney and West Coast.

While Port may be developing a tag as a ‘flat track bully’ if they are going to make the finals then they need to continue to win all the games that they are expected to win and a clash with the Suns certainly falls into that category.

Port is expected to make the finals and is still $1.20 with bet365 despite losing as favourites last week against West Coast while the Gold Coast Suns are $8 to make the finals for the first time.

This is a fascinating clash and we are banking on Total Game Score going Under 196.5.

Gary Ablett has had 45 and 32 possessions in the past fortnight and is a must for the Most Disposals. We think having a crack at him 40+ represents juicy odds @ $5 with Sportsbet.
