Adelaide are primed to hit back after two straight losses.

The Crows won their first six games of the season and some experts were even suggesting they could go through the entire the season undefeated.

A fortnight later though there are question marks over the Crows following a 59-point defeat to North Melbourne and after leading by nearly five goals against Melbourne last week the Crows lost by 41 points.

After getting into as short as $3.25 with some betting agencies for the premiership the Crows have been replaced at the top of the market by new kids on the block Greater Western Sydney.

Rory Sloane has lost Brownlow favouritsm following a quiet fortnight and will be keen to find plenty of the footy and bring those around him back in form.

The Crows have been really poor the last fortnight, but they did look like world beaters prior to that and up against Brisbane this week, who are easily the worst side in the competition, they will record a comfortable victory.

The Lions started the season in blistering fashion, jumping crosstown rivals Gold Coast and holding on for a narrow win but since then things have gone from bad to worse with seven straight losses, a host of injuries and confidence appearing to be shot.

Adelaide has won their past five games against Brisbane including an absolute demolition job in Round 20 last season. The Crows won by 138 points and slammed home a thumping score of 177 points.

In that performance the Crows forwards ran riot and the midfield did as they pleased. Underrated small Rory Laird racked up a game high 36 touches and again looks a good bet in most disposal markets.

The Crows are a free swing for multi players and if you want to be ambitious don’t be afraid to move the line up as high as you please knowing that this game will be a thrashing.

When these teams played last Eddie Betts, Taylor Walker and Tom Lynch all booted four goals.
