Look for Fremantle to continue their march towards a finals berth.

The Fremantle Dockers were down and out after losing their first two matches this season and questions were being asked about their future. Since then, they’ve turned their fortunes around by winning five of their past six matches and now a finals appearance is theirs for the taking.

Fremantle can and should carry on their recent winning ways against a Carlton side that has been gallant this season, but is still on the rise and has struggled away from home.

The Dockers have an outstanding recent record against Carlton having won five of their past six matches and on the back of an after the siren goal against Richmond last week, will come into the game with plenty of confidence.

Carlton caused a shock upset when they toppled the Dockers by four points in this fixture in Round 5 at Domain Stadium last season.

Michael Walters was outstanding last week collecting 38 touches and the Dockers midfield is starting to find form.

The Dockers defence has been outstanding of late, holding the high scoring Tigers to just 70 points while the Bombers North and Western Bulldogs all failed to get over 80 points when playing them. It’s no wonder the Total Points is hovering around the 146.5 mark.

The positive for Carlton is the form of Patrick Cripps. He found plenty of the ball last week in the loss to St Kilda collecting 30 possessions and kicking two goals.

After a limited pre-season his form is continuing to improve and he again looks a good bet to gain 30 touches or more this week and one day we could be talking about him as a Brownlow Medalist.

In a tough weekend of footy tipping and punting the Dockers  ($1.32 @ TopBetta) look a good bet to win a close contest and hopefully are a nice way to round out your multis.

Lachie Neale had a game high 35 disposals when these teams played last and looks a good bet again for most touches.
