Is it going to be 16 straight wins for North over the Demons?
The Kangaroos have won 15 in a row against Melbourne and have not lost to them since 2007.
The Demons are a team on the rise and further pushed their finals claim with a big win over Adelaide last week by 41 points at the Adelaide Oval.
It has been an emotional week for the Demons with the news that their superstar forward Jesse Hogan had been diagnosed with cancer, while it is impossible to be certain to know how they will react, the vibe from the club is that it has galvanized the playing group and they will be even more determined to win for their sick mate.
Second year player Clayton Oliver has been a sensation for the Dees this season, reaching 30 disposals and kicking arguably the goal of the year last week against Adelaide and after starting the season $501 in Brownlow Medal betting is the buzz player and right in contention.
As brilliant as Hogan is, Melbourne showed last week against Adelaide that they have other avenues to goal with Cameron Pedersen kicking a game high three goals, Tom McDonald two goals and then another seven players slotting one or more.
North Melbourne though looks to be crashing back down to the bottom of the ladder.
The Kangaroos looked to have turned the corner after they recorded a narrow win over Gold Coast and followed that up with a big upset win over Adelaide in Tasmania, but last week were belted at home against a Sydney side that had won just one match for the season and they again look to be outclassed.
Melbourne look a great anchor for multi bets and if they get hold of the Kangaroos they could run out winners by a big margin, maybe it might pay just to play it slightly more conservative with Melbourne though and look to take them over 15.5 points.
Clayton Oliver has been a ball magnet this season. Back him to again register 30 or more disposals.
