Punters expect Geelong to return to the winners list.

The equation is simple - when Geelong plays at Simonds Stadium they represent a wonderful betting opportunity.

They have won all three games at Simonds this season and started luxury odds of $1.90 against the Western Bulldogs, $2 against Adelaide and $1.70 when they played against Port Adelaide.

Geelong won seven of their eight games at the ground last year and should easily account for a Fremantle Dockers side who after an early season resurgence have completely hit the wall.

The Cats will be keen to bounce back after a lacklustre performance against West Coast last week where they lost by 13 points.

Patrick Dangerfield was outstanding for the Cats collecting a game high 34 disposals and booting a goal and as a result he firmed to outright Brownlow Medal favourite, an award he won last season and looks a huge chance of going back-to-back. Luxbet has him at $3.25.

These teams played in Round 1 at Domain Stadium with the Cats running out comprehensive winners.

Geelong won by 42 points with Patrick Dangerfield outstanding kicking an equal game high three goals.

Fremantle on the other hand comes into this game on the back of a confidence sapping 57 point loss to wooden spoon fancy Brisbane.

In a tough round of punting Geelong is a great anchor for multi bets at the Head-to-Head price ($1.17 @ bet365).

We also fully expect they will cover the line of 34.5 points and that is one of our best bets for the weekend. If you are feeling ambitious then you can take the $3.60 to win by 60 points or more at Sportsbet.

After a hiccup last week against West Coast, the Cats are primed for a big month and will set themselves up for a premiership tilt with a top four finish.

If you want to back the Cats for the flag this is the ideal time to do it with games coming up against Fremantle, Brisbane and Hawthorn in the next month the $9 (@ Luxbet) on the Cats may be the best price we see again this season

Patrick Dangerfield kicked three goals against Fremantle in Round 1 and looks a good bet to kick two or more.
