A showdown that stops the state.

This will be a much anticipated contest with both sides headed for finals footy but just who will come out of this with momentum?

The Crows are sitting pretty on top of the ladder and will take a big step towards securing top spot with a win over their crosstown rivals Port Adelaide. The Power kept their top four hopes alive with a miracle win over St Kilda last Saturday afternoon and come into this game in top form.

Adelaide reminded everybody why they are favourite to win the flag this season after they overhauled a 50-point deficit to draw with Collingwood last Sunday. It would have been easy to excuse the Crows for dropping that game with several key players missing and a comfortable gap at the top of the ladder.

Good teams find a way to win though and get the job done and they will take plenty of confidence from that game into this fixture.

It was a similar story with the Power, who were largely disappointing last week against St Kilda but kicked two goals in the last minute to claim the win.

When these sides met earlier in the year it was the Crows who prevailed by 17 points. On that occasion the game was won through the midfield but since then that is an area that Port have improved on significantly. Adelaide has had the wood over the Power winning the past four showdowns.

The Crows have been great this season but have little to play for in the final month with a top two position already locked away. It is a different story for Port who need to finish top four if they are to go deep into the finals.

In what will surely be a cracker, we fancy Port Adelaide ($2.55 @ Luxbet) to cause the upset but are especially keen on them at the line.

Ollie Wines had 30 disposals when these teams clashed last and is a good chance to gain the most.
