The Bulldogs need to keep winning to make the finals.

The Western Bulldogs appear to have found their mojo at the right end of the season and can still make the finals as a result. They were trounced by 59 points against Adelaide in Round 16 and their premiership defence appeared to be in tatters.

Since that point they have bounced back by stringing three straight wins together and injecting life into their season.

The Dogs beat Carlton by 20, Gold Coast by 54 and Essendon by 30 last week. The biggest negative for the Bulldogs is the fact they have been dreadful when playing interstate in 2017.

The Bulldogs lost their first five interstate matches before beating easy beats Gold Coast a fortnight ago.

Brisbane has had moments to savour in the past five weeks with impressive wins over Essendon at Etihad Stadium and Carlton at home, but they are bottom of the ladder for a reason and it is nearly impossible to see the Brisbane Lions taking this one.

Remember that the Bulldogs won the premiership last season after finishing seventh on the ladder at the end of the home and away season as an $81 chance. They are still $26 to win the flag with Luxbet and $2.50 to make the finals.

Brisbane would love to end the season with another win to ensure that they don’t again finish with the least amount of wins, however, we can’t see this game being one of those. They are a big chance to beat Gold Coast at home next week at home and then North Melbourne, also at home, in the final round of the season

As a result the Lions are way under the odds to claim the wooden spoon at $1.55 so don’t be afraid to have something on Carlton at $3.50 and even fellow Queensland side the Gold Coast Suns at $51 with Ubet.

Dayne Beams had a game high 42 disposals last week and looks a good bet to gain the most.
