The flat track bullies West Coast will win again at home.

The West Coast Eagles were considered one of the premiership fancies earlier in the season but now find themselves having to win their final three games just to get into the finals. They didn’t do their chances any good by losing a narrow one to St Kilda last week.

West Coast look like world beaters when the game is played on their terms and against sides lower on the ladder.

With the Eagles now in ‘must-win’ mode they should beat Carlton this week but then things get harder with a road game against Greater Western Sydney next week before hosting Adelaide in the final round of the season.

If you predict the Eagles can salvage something from the season they are now $3 to make the finals and $101 to go on and win the premiership

Carlton is limping towards the end of the season. They were in finals contention earlier in the year but have now lost seven consecutive matches and with a  host of injuries are still a big chance of claiming the unwanted wooden spoon.

The Blues should have pinched the game against Essendon last week but were once again wasteful in front of goal, the lack of goal scoring players is a major hurdle that will halt their progress and ironically it is their former forward Josh Kennedy that should dine out on them in this clash.

Kennedy has been outstanding for the Eagles since returning from a calf injury and is now just two goals off Joe Daniher in the Coleman Medal race.

We suggest snapping up the $2.30 on Kennedy this week as he will most likely kick a bag of goals in this game where the Eagles should win easily.

The Eagles will comfortably win this fixture but the acid test for the Eagles will be the fortnight that follows.

Josh Kennedy has kicked the most goals in all four games since returning from injury and is a good bet to boot the most.
