Will West Coast cause an upset at the Adelaide Oval?
Port Adelaide and West Coast have both been frustrating at times this season, the Power are yet to win a single game against a side inside the top eight while West Coast miraculously squeaked into the finals after Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs both self-destructed.
The Eagles found themselves only needing to beat an Adelaide side in Round 23 that had secured top spot on the table and rested several players, thus opening the door for the West Australian outfit.
These sides met twice this season with the away side winning both matches. The away side in this clash is West Coast who have an excellent record at the Adelaide Oval having won five games in six attempts.
When the sides met in Round 16 the Power came from more than four goals down to topple West Coast by 32 points.
Charlie Dixon produced his best game of the season in this victory ramming home a match winning five goals and will again be the focal point for the Power.
West Coast get their chance to play with the shackles off and get back a rejuvenated Josh Kennedy who returns from injury.
The Eagles look the best chance at causing an upset and we are keen on them at the line where they are given a 14.5 point start and also in Head-to-Head betting @ $2.78 (Topbetta).
If you anticipate either of these two teams will do what the Western Bulldogs did last season and win the Grand Final from outside the top four, Port Adelaide is now $17 with most bookmakers with the West Coast Eagles one of the competition outsiders at $51.
Charlie Dixon had a field day the last time these teams played. He is a logical choice to kick the most goals.
