Brisbane v Collingwood - Gabba - 7:35 PM

The Easter weekend of footy begins on Thursday night when the Brisbane Lions host Collingwood in a mouth-watering clash at the Gabba. The match is expected to be the first sell-out AFL match at the venue in a decade as Brisbane attempts to move to 4-1 by toppling last season’s Grand Finalists and make amends for their disappointing performance against the Bombers last week where they were beaten by eight goals.

Collingwood squared the ledger at 2-2 with a 14-point win over the Bulldogs last week in a tight arm wrestle where they had to come from behind in the last quarter. The Pies have won five straight against the Lions, scoring 100+ in the last four. The corresponding fixture last season was one of the games of the season with the Pies eventually running out 121-114 winners thanks to a five-goal haul from Jordan De Goey who will be looking to continue his hot form and add to his 11 goals from the first four matches of the season.

Key Stat: Brisbane has lost 10 of its last 11 Round 5 matches
