North Melbourne v GWS - Blundstone Arena - 3:20pm

For the third straight year, the Kangaroos will host a home match against the Giants at Blundstone Arena in Hobart as they search for a third successive victory under caretaker coach Rhyce Shaw and fourth overall. Since it was announced Brad Scott and the club had mutually parted ways, the Roos are undefeated with wins over the Bulldogs, Tigers and Suns wit the latter two under Shaw’s guidance.

The Giants had their three-game winning streak halted by the Crows in Adelaide last weekend and again find themselves on the road where they’ve lost their last two. The teams have split their meetings at this venue over the past two seasons but it was the Roos who were victorious by a margin of 43-points in the most recent in Round 9 last year.

North Melbourne have been the highest scoring team over the past three weeks, averaging 104.3 points per match, but still leak the 3rd most points against per match, which could spell danger against the Giants who have the #2 ranked offence, averaging 95.3 points per match.

Key Stat: North Melbourne have a 6-2 record over the Giants

Tip: North Melbourne

Best bet: North Melbourne 1-39
