NBA Week 18 in review
A review of the key storylines happening around the NBA and how it will affect teams into the future.
The Wizards are continuing life with John Wall at the helm. Washington's franchise point guard is till early in his rehab process and the Wizards are said to have been considering outside help for Wall's time off and when he returns to the court.
The Team has reportedly considered Derrick Rose, who was recently waived by the Jazz. Similarly, the wizards and Ramon sessions have had talks.
The front runner to come in and help redirect the ship though is Ty Lawson. Lawson spent the 17/18 season in China and is tipped to come in and show some senior leadership to a Wizards team that is lacking that a bit at the moment.
The Wall injury is significantly impacting the Southeast Division. Miami has value in this spot and could be worth taking a stab on.
Tip: Southeast Division – Miami Heat
After the eventful final day of the NBA trade deadline which saw a number of stars carousel their way around the league, one of the more underwhelming moves was Derrick Rose's departure from Cleveland.
Rose was brought in to help revive his career but injury kept that from happening successfully. Rose played in 16 games going for 10 ppg.
Rose was dealt to the Jazz in an effort to clear the decks and the Jazz instantly waived Rose. The ex-MVP has cleared waivers and is subsequently searchign for another team. The Wolves are said to have an interest in Rose, with coach Thibodeau expected to try and sign Rose given how cheap his contract would be.
