Our picks for Wednesday's NBA action

Back to business yesterday and starting off the week in the right way, with a W. Only four games today, but there's actually a pair that look like fun, so let's take those.

Current Record - 30-26-1 (win/lose/push) +1.3u

Sam's NBA picks will regularly be giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.

Whilst we're here and talking about hoops, can we remind you that Oddschecker is the place for great March Madness content. Find our great articles here.

Lakers @ Thunder

This is a huge spread and I think it's the highest that I've ever picked but seems like a lock but there's frankly nobody left who I can see influencing this game for the Lakers.

LeBron, Lonzo and Ingram are all done for the year. Tyson Chandler isn't playing and it looks likely that Kyle Kuzma will be joining him. The remnants of this LA team won't be able to get close to an Oklahoma City team who will want to win to aid their playoff cause.

OKC is 3-7 in their last ten but they'll walk past the Lakers on their home court tonight. It's a massive spread but take it.

Rockets @ Kings

These two teams met on Saturday in Houston and the Rockets stormed to a 119-108 victory with James Harden going off for 50 points. Since then we've all heard the sad news about the passing of Nispey Hussle, rapper and close friend of Harden. There have been questions about how this will impact the MVP-frontrunner but I could see him going nuclear and putting up yet another great number.

I'm happy to take a hit of -5.5 on this Rockets team and I think they'll win comfortably tonight. Get on this one.
