NBA Picks Thursday - 4th April
Our picks for Thursday's NBA action
Last night's picks went well, with us going 2-2. The Rockets went on a tear whilst Russell Westbrook became only the second player ever to post a 20-20-20, joining Wilt Chamberlain who did the same in 1968. We've got twelve games today, so I'm going to give out the three picks that I feel are safest.
Current Record - 32-26-1 (win/lose/push) +3.12u
Sam's NBA picks will regularly be giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.
Whilst we're here and talking about hoops, can we remind you that Oddschecker is the place for great March Madness content. Find our great articles here.
Knicks @ Magic
I'm not a huge fan of backing large spreads but I backed the Thunder at -12.5 and I have to take the home team today.
The 2019 Knicks are an embarrassment to New York and sit 2-8 in their last 10, tied for worst in the league in that span.
At this time of year, I think it's best to consider what each team is playing for and it's worth noting that Orlando sits one spot outside of a playoff berth and are within touching distance of the Heat. With that being the case they will get a win tonight and I'm sure that they'll smash whatever G-league standard team the Knicks put on the court.
Raptors @ Nets
Brooklyn is in seventh and narrowly fending off Miami Heat. They have everything to play for, whilst Toronto is all but set at the East's second seed.
Toronto has only covered in 36% of their games on the road in which they've begun as favorites. Without OG Anunoby and possibly Danny Green, and with playoffs on the horizon, it's easy to see them being complacent and the Nets securing an important victory.
Rockets @ Clippers
Rockets @ Clippers
The Rockets are always dicey on a back-to-back but they played some great basketball last night and I fully expect them to put a very talented Clippers team to the sword.
It's time for the Rockets to start getting sharp for the playoffs and they'll do that tonight.
