Australia v New Zealand - Third Test Tips

Winner: I am backing Australia to take out the series but it's a hard choice as we don’t know what the impact of the pink ball will be on the game and under lights. All we know so far is it is harder for the fielders to see so many questions remain.

Man of the Match: I am backing Mitchell Starc for MOM. Starc is hard enough work in the day light let alone under lights with a pink ball. He will be dangerous with a short sharp spell under lights late in the night.

Top Australia Batsman: I am looking at this one a little different this time. Batting in daylight hours is going to be easier to start, so a lot depends on the toss. I am looking at David Warner to continue his good form.

Top Australia Bowler: Mitchell Starc will have to lead the attack as the main strike bowler, this is his chance to stand up.

Top New Zealand Batsman: It is hard to go past Kane Williamson. Ross Taylor has an amazing record but Williamson can again score a 100. He is a class player and will show it again here.

Top New Zealand Bowler: Not an easy choice with Boult under an injury cloud; a lot will be on Tim Southee/a>and he has the ability to lead the Black Caps attack well. If he can get the new pink ball moving he will be hard to handle.

Smith 1st innings runs (Over 37.5):
Yes, a key player for Australia, looking to close out a tough series.

McCullum 1st innings runs (Over 29.5): Yes, a class player and will looking to get his team in a winning position.
