Australia v India
Australia are set to win their 19th consecutive ODI victory on home soil and wrap up the series 5-0 against India. After being $1.02 onto win the last game India managed to mess it up and end up losing by 25 runs, I still can’t quite understand how this happened. This will have knocked the stuffing out of the Indian, they must be questioning how they’re ever going to win a game at the moment. Australia have completely had the wood over them but surprisingly you can still get on Australia at $1.42, a price which hasn’t really changed all series. I’m backing Australia to win the final ODI, and win quite easily.
Top Australian Bowler
Kane Richardson produced the goods for me in the last meeting, however this time I’m jumping ship and getting on John Hastings. The big man ignited the Australian come back in the last game, throughout the series he’s kept it very tight which is key to winning in Sydney. He has been priced up at $4.5 which seems very good value for the Melbourne Stars player.
Top Indian Batsman
The top Indian batsman picks itself almost. How can you not back Virat Kohli? He’s one of the best batsman in the world at the moment and has shown his utter class throughout the series. He’s the leading run scorer in the series with 373 to his name at an average of 93. He’s a gun and well worth a punt on even if he’s $3.5. Virat is a very proud man and will hate to see his country go down 5-0.
Top Australian Batsman
I’m sticking with Steve Smith to top score for Australia, the skipper is back at his home ground and will want to put on a show for his loyal fans. Smith is used to this ground and the understanding the conditions in Sydney is vital for making big scores. Smith is also in decent touch, he’s scored 287 runs at an average of 71. He’s unsurprisingly favourite to top score for Australia at $4.25.
Man of the Match
Also going with Smith to be Man of the Match, if Smith scores he will score big and win the game! Therefore I’m getting on at $8 for him to be the star of the show.
