New Zealand are playing fantastic cricket at the moment, the post McCullum era has started a lot better than most predicted. They've beaten the three biggest teams in their group with relative ease. A few pundits questioned how'd they'd cope with being favourites for their last clash against Pakistan but they won pretty comprehensively.

Today they face a Bangladesh team who'll be demoralised after coming so close to pulling off a huge upset against the host nation. The final few balls against India showed why Bangladesh are still classed as a minnow, any other team would have kept the ball on the carpet to ensure they got over the line, instead of going for the big shots. They were not unlucky to lose, they were irresponsible, yes they did well to get into that position, but you have to win from there.

Teams who have nothing to play for can be very dangerous opponents, however I'm backing New Zealand to get the job done. Their selectors deserve a lot of praise for how they've adapted to the conditions, nobody gave them a sniff pre comp but they'll qualify top of their group after winning today at $1.3.

Guptill landed me a $11 punt against Pakistan and I'm going with the big New Zealander again. Even though the Tigers seamers improved against India I can't see them causing Guptill many problems on these slow wickets. The Kiwi opener has the power to dominate the spinners and punish anything slightly over pitched. Guptill will be man of the match again, he'll secure the points for New Zealand with his explosive batting in the first 10 overs.

It's a short price but there is no chance that Bangladesh will score more than Guptill and company in the first 6 overs. New Zealand's quality at the top of the order makes the $1.57 for them to score the most runs in the first six a must back.
