Best Roughie: R1 – 2. PRODIGY
R1 – 12.54pm Fastway Couriers Sydney Maiden Plate - 1500m.
No4 RAKHISH has been trialing well enough coming into the debut run here and the 1500m on debut shouldn’t be an issue at all. He gets the blinkers on, on debut and should run them along.
No6 BIRDSONG has really let punters down in the short career that she has had, she gets a good run on the map here from gate 1 and should run well.
No2 PRODIGY (BEST ROUGHIE) was quite good first-up for the new stable and found the line well, up to 1500m suits and he should run well again.
No5 WATER LINE will appreciate further in time and should find the line here.
VALUE RUNNER: No2 PRODIGY
R2 – 1.29pm. Irresistible Pools and Spas Benchmark 64 Handicap - 1000m.
No3 SEETHING JACKAL has been trialing well coming into the fresh run, he brings quite form to this and is in well after the claim.
No5 BELLA VELLA gets the blinkers on fresh here and has been trialing up quite well coming into this run. The form around is good enough.
No8 CAPER has been going well enough at the 1000m as of late and gets a good run on the map from gate 2.
No7 MESSIAH’S JEWEL has been going quite well coming into this. She gets in well after the claim for Nutman and should run well.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 CAPER
R3 – 2.04pm. Vermont Sand and Soil Maiden Handicap - 1800m.
No2 NEW HORIZONS (NEXT BEST BET) gets up to a suitable distance here being by Frankel and third-up for the stable should be set to peak here. He has found the line well in both runs and now finds quite a weak race here. If he doesn’t win this, I think we will see the first Frankel in Rockhampton quite soon.
No1 EQUIPPED has quite a good record without winning and has been going well enough in both runs this time in.
No6 CORINTH brings a strong SP profile to this and gets quite a soft run on the map from gate 1.
No10 TRIUMPH STAR gets to the 1800m here which is a suitable distance, given how he has been finding the line in all runs this time in.
VALUE RUNNER: No10 TRIUMPH STAR
R4 – 2.39pm. JDS Concreting Class 2 Handicap - 1300m.
No2 RADCLIFFE (BEST BET) resumes here and has been gelded coming into this preparation after quite a long break. You just need to look through his form to see why he should be winning a race like this first-up off a break. Form around Swear and Flying Artie is more than good enough here.
No5 NICCI’S GOLD won well last week at Kembla and on the quick back up should run well again here.
No6 FILOMENA’S GRACE comes out of the same race as Nicci's Gold last start and should run well again.
No3 SENSACOVA comes out of a good race first-up where she found the line well, and should run well second-up.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 SENSACOVA
R5 – 3.15pm. Hawkesbury Gazette and Courier Maiden Handicap - 1300m.
No1 LUCKY HADA has been good in both starts and has found the line quite well, and the step up to 1300m here looks to be quite suitable and he is hard to beat.
No2 COOL DUDE AUSBRED has a brilliant name, and comes out of some good form races and should run well fresh.
No8 INDISPUTABLE has been trialing well coming into the debut run and should run well here.
No7 HENDO’S MAGIC should run quite well on debut after a few good trials, and the trainer is quite smart.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 HENDO’S MAGIC
R6 – 3.55pm. Plant Haul Heavy Haulage Benchmark 60 Handicap - 1500m.
No2 DAWN RAID has been fantastic since joining the JOS stable and has won both in very good fashion, no reason as to why he cannot win again.
No1 LEGISTATION has been going quite well this time in and on the home track should run well.
No9 SCENT OF A WOMAN has been going ok enough this time in, 1500m shouldn’t be an issue at all.
No8 OFF THE DIAL looks to be next best here, and gets blinkers off.
VALUE RUNNER: No9 SCENT OF A WOMAN
R7 – 4.30pm. Skin Fitness Class 2 Handicap - 1800m.
No2 MOUNT PANORAMA drops well in grade here after just getting pipped at Ballarat on Cup day, he comes back to a class 2 here and gets a chance to win.
No10 TICKED was solid enough last start when starting fav. Up to the 1800m here is quite suitable.
No11 FIRST COURRIER has been going quite well this time in, the drop back in distance to 1800m shouldn’t be an issue
No1 BEIJING BOARD didn’t have the right set up going to the 2100m last start, back to 1800m at a track he has won at is more suitable.
VALUE RUNNER: No10 TICKED
