Kyneton R1 No.9 - GOLDEN CROPPER
Fit filly who has been good in two decent maidens to date this campaign, probably meets the weakest field of her career here and gets in well at the weights/draw. Drop back to 1100m no harm whatsoever as she looks to breakthrough for her first career win.
Grafton R7 No.3 - ARABIAN KING
Nice horse this returning fresh here for J.Shelton, trained and track and has an overall liking for the surface. Has been competitive in good grade in town in QLD and absolutely flys first-up. Gets in very well after the claim from J.Graham and maps for the run of the race, hard to beat.
Port Lincoln R2 No.5 - DUTTON BAY
Thought this filly was very good a week back (good race on the day!) when leading and just getting nailed on the line over 1000m, arguably a weaker race despite this not being a maiden and he again draws for the right run leading. M.Neilson goes on (massive tick) and she steps back up to the 1200m, cant go past her here.
