Race 1 12:30pm TAB REWARDS PLATE 1600m

DYNASTIC LADY was just run down late in what looks to be a strong maiden race at Kembla. She gets the blinkers off here in an attempt to help her run the mile out and she’s the horse they need to run down.

NEMRUD hit the line powerfully first up. The step up to the 1600 looks ideal and he will be hard to beat.

SWEET CHESTNUT comes out of one of the stronger off season races seen in a while. She drops back to maiden level and was only five lengths off Awoke and Foxplay so that form with only 52kgs is good enough for this.

MAGICALEASE was only 1.6 lengths off Awoke on debut and followed that up with a good run last start. The step up to 1600 should suit him here.

SELECTIONS: No 8 DYNASTIC LADY, No 5 Nemrud, No 10 Sweet Chestnut, No 4 Magicalease

Race 2 1:10pm HUSSON @ VINERY PLATE 1200m

MADAME LILY comes out of a really strong race on debut where she was beaten by Yattarna. She has trialled quite well leading into this and will be hard to beat.

SERVE AND VOLLEY resumes after a long break and has some form around some really nice horses. She only needs to carry 52kgs after the claim and has form on soft tracks.

ELUSIVE STAR gets a chance to win a race here. He comes out of what I think will be a good race last start and although he is starting to become a costly commodity he deserves another chance.

KING DARCI resumes with no trials here and has been gelded since his last preparation. He looked to be a horse full of ability in his first preparation and hopefully the gelding boosts that chance.

SELECTIONS: No 9 MADAME LILY, No 10 Serve and Volley, No 2 Elusive Star, No 4 King Darci

Race 3 1:45pm SCHWEPPES HANDICAP 1300m

BIG ARTY could take another step forward here after what was a brilliant resumption. The gelding looks to have done the trick here. He may want a touch further than 1300 but second up he should still be fresh enough.

ANTONIO GIUSEPPE resumes for Waller and has been gelded since his last preparation. He has legitimate group form around him from his races in New Zealand and must be respected.

WIDE ACCLAIM drops in grade from his last preparation where he had form around horses such as Speith and Southern Legend. He is in well after the claim and has trialled quite well.

NAGGING was quite good last start in a messy race. Before that her runs had been quite serviceable and down in grade here she is a rough chance.

SELECTIONS: No 2 BIG ARTY, No 6 Antonio Giuseppe, No 1 Wide Acclaim, No 9 Nagging

Race 4 2:20pm TAB.COM.AU HANDICAP 2200m

BRACES has been knocking on the door this time in and gets a good chance to win a race here. He loves heavy going and is yet to miss a place in five attempts and is the one they have to beat.

DESTINATION TUSCON was good last start after an abysmal performance prior. That run showed that she was back on track and getting out to 2200 suits her here and she has a chance.

SOMETHING BORROWED has been in quite good form this time in and has picked up a few races along the way. He is a one batter who doesn’t give up and is adept in the soft conditions.

BONUS SPIN gets the heavy track he has been looking for as of late and is a rough hope.

SELECTIONS: No 1 BRACES, No 8 Destination Tuscon, No 4 Something Borrowed, No 3 Bonus Spin

SNIPER resumed with a dominant win at Canterbury, he looks to have come back well and can go on with it yet again.

DEEP CONVICTION comes out of that same race as Sniper last start and comes out of some handy form races too. From the good gate he is a chance.

SLICK SPEED drops well in weight after a good performance at Nowra last start. He has performed well at his home track in the past and deserves another chance.

THINK ALOUD has trialled well leading into this and gets blinkers for the first time so looks ready to go first up here. Cummings has been placing his horses well as of late and this looks another contender.

SELECTIONS: No 1 SNIPER, No 7 Deep Conviction, No 8 Slick Speed, No 12 Think Aloud

KING’S OFFICER has been dominant at winning his past two in Highway grade. He is quite well in after the claim and is the one to beat again.

QUICK DEFENCE improved rapidly in his second Australian start. He comes out of some good races in the UK and the step up to the mile looks ideal here.

OUR VENTURA hit the line powerfully last start and stays at the 1600 here. She finally gets the heavy track that she has been looking for this preparation and gets her chance to win here.

HALFPENNY GATE looks ready to go here fourth up after an improved performance last start. He is a winner at 1600 in the past and is adept in soft going.

SELECTIONS: No 1 KING’S OFFICER, No 4 Quick Defence, No 10 Our Ventura, No 11 Halfpenny Gate

Race 7 4:15pm PRO-RIDE HANDICAP 1200m

TREMOR was a strong winner when resuming, she stays in the same level of grade here and the return showed that she had come back a better horse. She relishes soft going and will be hard to beat.

TERMELE was met with solid support last start in what is a strong race. She is a winner on heavy going in the past and down in the weights she gets a chance to break back into the winner stall.

MY AMAZING COOL gets blinkers for the first time here after having a "think" about it in her last few. She is a winner on heavy going in the past and must be considered again.

BONETE drops well in grade after some good runs this preparation. She has won on heavy ground in the past and has a chance down in the weights.

SELECTIONS: No 8 TREMOR, No 14 Termele, No 7 My Amazing Cool, No 4 Bonete
