MOQUEEN was just a run short at Warwick Farm when resuming. Ran third in the G2 Reisling second-up last preparation. Ready to win from an ideal gate.

GRETNA resumes on the back of successive trial placings at Randwick. Was a Moonee Valley winner and Caulfield placed in four runs at her first preparation. Looks right up to winning this fresh.

CALIFORNIA NIKE did a good job to win on debut at Newcastle. Looks capable of working through the grades and a winning chance again.

TO EXCESS is chasing a fourth win from six career starts including a Gosford victory two runs back when resuming from a let-up. Has to take the step up to midweek city company but hard to knock the winning form.

SELECTIONS: No6 MOQUEEN, No4 Gretna, No3 California Nike, No2 To Excess.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 Alluvion.

TOWER OF SONG put in a solid effort when resuming at Rosehill chasing home Super Tycoon. Won three on the trot last preparation and ready to win second-up.

IT'S A SHAMOZZLE placed in all three runs this time including a runner-up finish at this track and distance last start. Significant weight drop gives him the chance to go one better.

AURORA GLOW is on the quick back up after finishing out of the placings at Rosehill on Saturday. Would rate as one of the key chances if connections tried their luck again.

SNIPER had a big win when resuming three runs back, but was well beaten in two subsequent runs. Drops in weight on last couple and can improve sharply.

SELECTIONS: No2 TOWER OF SONG, No4 It’s A Shamozzle, No6 Aurora Glow, No5 Sniper.

MY GIULIANO was a winner at this track and distance two runs back then had 58-days between runs prior to finishing fourth at Canterbury here last start over 1550m. Set to bounce back with stepping up to 1900m and will get a soft run from the gate.

CISMONTANE was an impressive winner at Kembla when resuming over the mile on the back of a 385-day break between races. Still scope for improvement and a winning chance again.

ALLISION overcame a wide run in transit for an impressive win at Gosford over the mile last start. Ready for the step up in distance and a winning chance again.

ONE TOUCH finished his race off nicely when runner-up at Wyong last start. Should be right at his peak third-up and is a winner at the track and distance.

VALUE RUNNER: No6 Cismontane.

EBENOS worked in the run before finishing runner-up at Warwick Farm on debut. All the better for the experience and gets the chance to go one better from a good gate.

Some nice triallers among the first starters so betting likely to be the best guide with the likes of MISSILE STRIKE, SPIRIT AND FIRE and NAUGHTY THOUGHTS prominent.

SELECTIONS: No1 EBENOS, No5 Missile Strike, No7 Spirit And Fire, No12 Naughty Thoughts.
VALUE RUNNER: No12 Naughty Thoughts.

STRINDBERG resumes as a gelding and has trialled well on two occasions leading into this. Runner-up at this track and distance when resuming last preparation and right in the mix fresh again.

LOVERBOY CHARLIE won successive provincial races before finishing a close second to the promising Rockafella at this track and distance last start. Just needs even luck in-running from an awkward gate to go one better.

OCEAN GRAND finished on the placegetters’ heels at Canterbury when resuming. Fitter here and in with a winnable weight after the claim. Rates as one of the key chances.

LAST CARD JOE chasing back-to-back wins at this track and distance. In under the minimum after the claim and a winning chance again.

SELECTIONS: No3 STRINDBERG, No2 Loverboy Charlie, No1 Ocean Grand, No12 Last Card Joe.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 Ocean Grand.

COOLCRAFT hasn't finished worse than fourth in six starts to date including a Canterbury win. Resumed from a 553-day break between races when third at Rosehill last start. The one to beat here back to midweek grade with the first-up run under his belt.

COURTZA KING is finding it hard to win a race in recent times but looks suited back in distance and worth including in the wider exotics.

CRAFTY COP is a Warwick Farm winner and G3 placed in two runs in his first preparation. Wasn't far from the winner at Caulfield when resuming. Fitter here and right up to winning this.

FABRY hasn't finished worse than fourth in 13 career starts and four times a winner. Robert Thompson riding for the family looks a strong lead.

SELECTIONS: No2 COOLCRAFT, No5 Courtza King, No8 Crafty Cop, No11 Fabry.

THINK ALOUD struggled when back in distance last start. A Warwick Farm winner two runs back and rates well for this. Right in play stepping back up in distance.

FLEETEOR did a good job to finish on the placegetters’ heels at Rosehill resuming after covering plenty of ground in the run. Better draw here and rates as one of the key chances with the first-up run under her belt.

MERI RANI didn't get the clearest of runs in the straight but still finished fourth in the Interstellar race at Rosehill last start. Looks right up to a race like this.

LA MUSE only clear late at Canterbury when resuming and looked to have something to offer. All the better for the run and just needs even luck in-running to be right in the finish.
