BETCHA THINKING finished his race off strongly when runner-up at Kembla second-up. Should be cherry-ripe for the mile third-up and ready to win.
AUDACIOUS CHOICE just a run short for the mile when runner-up at Hawksbury after leading last start. All the better for the outing and gets the chance to go one better from an ideal gate.
NEMRUD has improved at each of his three starts to date culminating in a Kembla runner-up finish on the back of a 55-day break between races. Fitter here and right in the mix with a soft run from the inside gate.
CROSS STITCH placed both runs to date at Kembla and Warwick Farm. On the improve and ready to win stepping up to the mile.
SELECTIONS: No1 BETCHA THINKING, No7 Audacious Choice, No4 Nemrud, No8 Cross Stitch

MISSILE STRIKE had no luck at Hawkesbury on debut and was then nailed right on the line at Canterbury last start. Still scope for improvement and gets the chance to go one better with a soft run from the inside gate.
COCOEXCEL seemingly struggled at 1400m at Rosehill last start. Warwick Farm win on debut was solid. 25 days between runs but has won a trial in the interim. Set to bounce back over the shorter journey.

ALLISION (Best Bet) won successive races at Gosford and Canterbury before being run down late at Canterbury last start. Nothing to suggest she won't be in the finish again. With James McDonald on board, this four-year-old mare will be given every chance to win and will only need a small amount of luck from barrier (8).
SELECTIONS: No5 ALLISION, No3 Doc Holliday, No2 Kanji, No7 Red Lago
VALUE RUNNER: No3 Doc Holliday
R5 4.05pm #THERACES HANDICAP 1200m
GALAXY WARRIOR (Next Best Bet) is putting together a good record with three wins and two seconds from six starts. Was run down late in the Highway Handicap at Randwick last start over the same distance. Barrier (13) makes this task a bit trickier, but with any luck Kerrin McEvoy should go close on the five-year-old who has enough fitness being third-up.
SELECTIONS: No11 GALAXY WARRIOR, No2 Mon Pere, No3 Dubawi Dream, No12 Hermosa Beach
VALUE RUNNER: No5 Mana
R5 4.05pm #THERACES HANDICAP 1200m
DIXIE CHICK resumes on the back of a recent Warwick Farm trial win. Won two provincial races in her first preparation. Just needs even luck in running from the gate to be in the finish here.
WUTAI MOUNTAIN winner here when resuming four runs back and chasing back-to-back wins after a strong win at Sandown last start. No rider announced at time of writing but a claim would help his cause.
INVINCIBLE DAME (Best Roughie) placed in both recent trials at Rosehill. Kembla winner on protest, only run last preparation and looks ready to go fresh here.
FAITH'S ENCORE Warwick Farm winner only run in her first preparation and placed at Canterbury resuming. Could prove very hard to beat.

VALUE RUNNER: No11 Invincible Dame

UPSCALE resumes and should be fit enough after three trials, winning the latest at Wyong. Newcastle winner on debut and close up in successive races at Canterbury with other two runs. Looks right up to this fresh.
POUND STERLING was a Warwick Farm winner when resuming three runs back and placed at Canterbury this trip last start. Just needs even luck in running from the gate to be in the finish again.
SUPER MAXI was a Geelong winner when resuming before the switch to Sydney came with immediate success with a Canterbury victory this trip. Getting up in the weights but still scope for improvement and a winning chance again.
YOUNG HUIT won two in a row at the start of the preparation but has struggled last two. Gets a soft run from the gate and can get into the placings.
