The rail is at the True Position for the entire course and we’re expecting fine conditions for racing.

Race 5 3:50pm CENTRAL COAST CLEANING CONTRACTORS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1350m
DUKE’S CALL (BEST ROUGHIE) impressed last when finishing a narrow second after having 565 days off between races. The five-year-old gelding will be fitter for the run and will appreciate the extra 150m.
SNIPES has placed in both runs back this preparation. The colt by Lonhro has appreciated the step-up in distance each start and the extra 150m here from a good barrier should suit.
UPTOWN LAD has impressed with both runs back this preparation. His run last start over 1100m was good and the 1350m should suit.
INTENSIFY has raced well on a heavy track recently, so the conditions won’t bother the gelding by Al Maher.
SELECTIONS: No1 DUKE’S CALL, No2 Snipes, No4 Uptown Lad, No9 Intensify.
Race 6 4:25pm RAPID CLEAN PACKAGING CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1350m
BRIGHT FUTURE has placed in his last two starts and looked suited at this distance last start. He’s a winner at the track and distance and this race looks a suitable option.
BOGIE has never finished outside of the top three when racing over 1350m. He was a winner two starts ago on a soft track, so conditions shouldn’t be a problem for the five-year-old.
DRILL MASTER is drawn nicely in barrier (3) and showed he could handle the soft conditions last start. He does need to improve, but he could play a part from the nice draw.
BAROQUE GIRL is a winner at the distance and trialed well recently. She’s never placed first-up and doesn’t have a great record on a soft track.
SELECTIONS: No3 BRIGHT FUTURE, No1 Bogie, No6 Drill Master, No5 Baroque Girl.
KATE’S PEARL was an impressive winner last start at the track. She steps up an extra 100m which is no issue for her. From barrier (5), she looks the one to beat.
PHOEBE’S LASS has had a 131-day spell before this assignment. She’s had a recent trial on a soft track and has placed first-up before.
ECHAPPE is drawn perfectly in barrier (1) and is a winner at the distance. The three-year-old has placed on a soft track before and with any luck through the early stages she should be there in the finish.
SWEET SURPRISE has to carry 60.5kg, but she was an impressive winner last start over the same distance on a soft track at Nowra last start. She’s been freshened up for this assignment.
SELECTIONS: No1 KATE’S PEARL, No4 Phoebe’s Lass, No5 Echappe, No2 Sweet Surprise.
CHICAGO STOMP (NEXT BEST BET) has to carry 60.5kg but does bring good form into this race. He finished second last start over 1350m and was a winner the start before on a soft track. The step up to 1600m is ideal and his form on a soft track indicates that he’s the one to beat.
SELECTIONS: No1 CHICAGO STOMP, No5 Rainbow Park, No2 Dylan’s Romance, No7 I’m Danny.
