\nBIG BETS & EXOTICS

\nThe big money talks and punters have been more than willing to put their dollars on the US election. Oddschecker has facilitated a number of large bets over the past few weeks, totaling $13,900 on Clinton and $5,000 on Trump. \n

\nThose looking for something more exotic should consider having a punt on voter turnout, normally around 60% for a US presidential election. Given the public's dissatisfaction with both candidates, I'd consider the 14.00 odds offered by Sportsbet for turnout under 49.99% worth a flutter.\n

\nAlso on offer are 16.00 odds for Clinton to fail a drug test ahead of the next debate!\n

USA Votes: Grab Them By The Pussy

Four weeks remain until USA votes, here's our weekly update of everything punters need to know

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in the polls by 5.5 points (44.9% to 39.4%) in the four-way race. Clinton at 1.17 odds with Unibet isn't much value, but it's hard to see The Donald winning from here.

It was an ugly week for Trump. The republican candidate is being accused of harassment and assault by an ever-increasing number of women, although he performed solidly in the second presidential debate. Meanwhile, Clinton faces awkward questions surrounding leaked campaign emails.

WEEKLY WRAP

Trump's recent controversies began following the release of a 2005 audio recording where he makes various lewd comments about women during a conversation with then-'Access Hollywood' host Billy Bush.

Since its release, the billionaire has faced a wave of allegations and various senior members of the Republican Party have spoken out against their own candidate.

Accusations include groping a woman on a plane, sexually assaulting a People Magazine writer during his one-year wedding anniversary with Melania, kissing a receptionist at Trump Tower against her will, deliberately walking in on teen pageant contestants while they were changing, groping and kissing a former Apprentice contestant and saying he’d date a 10-year-old girl in ten years. And that's not even the half of it.

While Clinton is dealing with the release of hacked campaign e-mails and private speeches by WikiLeaks, which show her as extremely two-faced, the democratic candidate is a shoo-in for President. Early voting in key swing states has the former Secretary of State continuing to firm, from 1.24 odds last Monday to 1.17 current odds.

Trump's debate performance last Monday has been completely overshadowed, but Saturday Night Live's recap is well worth checking out:

HIGHLIGHTS & LOWLIGHTS

Trump in 2005, "You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women - I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it, you can do anything. Grab them by the pussy,” Trump added. “You can do anything.”

Clinton during the second debate, "It's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country." Trump replied, "Because you'd be in jail." Oh snap.

“Hey, @realDonaldTrump - regarding your claim that Captain Khan would be alive if you were president,” tweeted Clinton’s foreign policy spokesman, Jesse Lehrich. “Go fuck yourself.” Lehrich later apologised.

Clinton in a leaked 2013 speech, “Politics is like sausage being made. It is unsavoury, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be. But if everybody’s watching ... then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position.” Wow.

WINNERS & LOSERS

Loser – The Republican Party: Is tearing itself apart. Trump's terrible week has many disavowing the candidate and the infighting means the party risks losing control of the Senate.

Winner – World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA): Trump suggested Clinton took performance-enhancing drugs to prepare for their debates and both candidates should undergo drug tests. WADA will be thrilled.

Loser – Bill Clinton: The former president's past scandals with women are being highlighted by Trump in an attempt to turn the political tables on Hillary Clinton.

Winner – Wall Street: Clinton's leaked speech transcripts show a much more balanced position on financial regulation. Hardly surprising considering she received about $8 million for 39 speeches to big US banks.

Loser – Alec Baldwin: Trump tweeted that he hated the actor's portrayal of him on Saturday Night Live. Baldwin is reportedly devastated by the criticism.

BIG BETS & EXOTICS

The big money talks and punters have been more than willing to put their dollars on the US election. Oddschecker has facilitated a number of large bets over the past few weeks, totaling $13,900 on Clinton and $5,000 on Trump.

Those looking for something more exotic should consider having a punt on voter turnout, normally around 60% for a US presidential election. Given the public's dissatisfaction with both candidates, I'd consider the 14.00 odds offered by Sportsbet for turnout under 49.99% worth a flutter.

Also on offer are 16.00 odds for Clinton to fail a drug test ahead of the next debate!
