FIVE STARS PARTNER is the BEST BET of the day here. He ran home in sizzling time upon resuming and getting up to the 1200m here is perfect. From barrier (2) he should bounce and be right up in the speed and prove too good for them.
SELECTIONS – No 5 FIVE STARS PARTNER, No 3 Rumeron, No 4 Peggy’s Cove, No 1 Hammond Lane
Race 2 1:04pm JIRSCH SUTHERLAND CG&E MAIDEN PLATE 1350m
Race 3 1:44pm ROBERTS LEGAL 3YO MAIDEN HANDICAP 1150m
This is a ripping little race with two very smart debutants and I’m leaning to BRATISLAVA as the NEXT BEST here. He has trialled very well both times this preparation and has obviously needed time given the amount of trials he has had. He looks well set for a debut win here.
COME ON VOGUE trialled superbly at Warwick Farm on 18/10. She quickened when asked and did it under his own steam. She looks a natural runner and will be in the finish.
SELECTIONS – No 1 BRATISLAVA, No 7 Come On Vogue, No 8 Indemnity, No 3 Street Pursuit
Race 4 2:29pm THE HUXLEY HILL GROUP CG&E CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1150m
ALL FROM SCRAP (BEST ROUGHIE) was good last start in solid time. He got way out of his ground and finished powerfully there. 1150m suits perfectly.
WOOMERA was a strong winner last start in a strong maiden. He comes back to his home track for the first time and must be considered.
VINCE THE PRINCE although beaten by five ran a good late sectional first-up. He should be fitter for that effort and given a chance here.
STIMULI drops well in grade here and has to be given another chance.
SELECTIONS – No 7 ALL FROM SCRAP, No 8 Woomera, No 5 Vince The Prince, No 1 Stimuli
Race 5 3:09pm MCKANNA FABRICATIONS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1350m

Race 6 3:54pm STEEL CITY FP F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1350m
AXIOMATIC has trialled well on all occasions here. The starting distance of 1350m is really suitable here as she looks to be a ready-made stayer, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see her sprint well fresh.
SOVEREIGN WEALTH comes out of a really good race last start which has produced winners already. She looks to be well placed up to the 1350m here and will be hard to beat.
GEVUINA has trialled well leading into this. I’m surprised to see her starting at 1350m here given her trials, but I won’t be doubting Godolphin on their placement of horses at the minute.
HARPERZOZO was really well backed last start and just ran out of ground. The step-up to 1350m is ideal here and with King on, I think he will take up the speed and prove hard to run down.
SELECTIONS – No 3 AXIOMATIC, No 2 Sovereign Wealth, No 4 Gevuina, No 5 Harperzozo
