DIPLOMACIA has won her past two in fine style and in a good time. She gets Shinn here and will be hard to beat.

GIBRALTAR GIRL won well when resuming from a spell. That race looked a good one on paper and should stack-up going forward. She is in another winnable race here.

FRENCH BLUE ran a solid time on debut when winning. She has had two trials leading into her first-up run and, being trained by Gai, she will take up the speed.

CUDABEEN has trialled quite well between runs and was only seven lengths off Omei Sword last start. That gives her some sort of chance here back on dry ground.

SELECTIONS: No 2 DIPLOMACIA, No 3 Gibraltar Girl, No 4 French Blue, No 6 Cudabeen.

VALUE RUNNER: No 6 Cudabeen.

Race 2 6:45pm SCHWEPPES PLATE 1900m

HOLD ALL TICKETS comes out of a good race on Melbourne Cup day last start - the race wasn’t run to suit at all. This race looks much more suitable and she should be in the finish.

DELACROIX (Best Roughie) hit the line really well over 1600m last start. Out to the 1900m suits here and Collett aboard is a bonus as he is riding brilliantly at the moment. These Waller horses really jump out of the ground when getting over distance.

SHAOLIN KUNGFU with the blinkers off is much more suited here. They crawled in front last start and that cost him any chance of winning. 1900m suits and he should be thereabouts.

DIDNT EVEN KISS ME finds a suitable race here. The run at Canberra was strong and the step-up in distance can only suit.

SELECTIONS: No 8 HOLD ALL TICKETS, No 2 Delacroix, No 4 Shaolin Kungfu, No 7 Didnt Even Kiss Me.

VALUE RUNNER: No 2 Delacroix.

Race 3 7:15pm TAB REWARDS HANDICAP 1900m

THE BULL was good in a strong race on Melbourne Cup day. The step up to 1900m now looks ideal for him. He should be able to control the speed and be hard to run down.

DYLAN’S ROMANCE smashed them in a good race at Goulburn last start. Parr gave no other horse a chance to win the race. I expect him to sit off them here and be in the finish.

ESTIKHRAAJ was just touched off last start in a better race. From the soft barrier he is going to get a good run, but will need some luck when Avdulla wants to go for home.

EL CAMPEADOR gets a good jockey change here (Shinn on) and off his last run he needs to be respected.

SELECTIONS: No 3 THE BULL, No 4 Dylan’s Romance, No 8 Estikhraaj, No 5 El Campeador.

VALUE RUNNER: No 4 Dylan’s Romance.

Race 4 7:45pm #THERACES HANDICAP 1100m

BONNY O’REILLY (BEST BET) returns here after a good first preparation in which she was dominant winner at both starts. She has trialled quite well twice coming into this first-up run. The draw looks a touch sticky but Collett could overcome that with his form at the moment. She looks to be a filly with above average ability and that is certainly better than a Friday at Canterbury.

SELECTIONS: No 6 BONNY O’REILLY, No 9 Eccellere, No 5 Navua Mist, No 4 Ciarlet.

VALUE RUNNER: No 5 Navua Mist.

Race 5 8:15pm TAB.COM.AU HANDICAP 1100m

SUGAR BAY LEONARD (NEXT BEST) was a dominant winner first-up and in soft fashion, he steps up in grade here. Off that win you’d have to expect a level of improvement fitness-wise as well as following through on the ability that he's always looked as if he has had. Pride’s horses are going quite well at the minute and this one looks no exception.

SELECTIONS: No 6 SUGAR BAY LEONARD, No 4 Firsthand, No 3 Echo Prince, No 7 Pale Ale.

VALUE RUNNER: No 7 Pale Ale.

SATYA drops well in grade here after a solid enough run in the Tristarc. The form around her is quite good this time in and she should be hard to beat.

PEPPERBERRY gave nothing when asked last start. She is becoming a little expensive to punters but has another chance here.

RED EXTENSION was good enough when resuming at Kembla. He is well weighted after a claim and has to be given a chance despite the gate.

COOLCRAFT has a good record at Canterbury and was good enough last start. In a similar race here he could bob up.

SELECTIONS: No 6 SATYA, No 11 Pepperberry, No 3 Red Extension, No 1 Coolcraft.

VALUE RUNNER: No 11 Pepperberry.

Race 7 9:15pm TOOHEYS NEW EVENING STAR 1250m

EMBLEY has found form, winning his last two. He is well weighted after the claim here and will be hard to beat.

CHRYSOLAUS had some support first-up and wasn’t too bad over an unsuitable distance. Out to 1250m suits here and after the claim he has a chance second-up.

ZIGGY WILLIE attacked the line well first-up and the form out of that race has stacked up well. The draw is a touch sticky but he needs to be respected.

HANWRITTEN to 1250m is a touch concerning, but Dunn is placing his horses so well at the moment that they all need to be given a chance.

SELECTIONS: No 3 EMBLEY, No 2 Chrysolaus, No 1 Ziggy Willie. No 4 Hanwritten.

VALUE RUNNER: No 3 Embley.

LIAPARI has found a perfect race second-up from a spell and in his first Australian prep. He hit the line really well and looks well suited to the 1550m here.

ASSERTIN MISCHIEF has been dominant at her last two and this looks a logical next step. The 1550m should pose no issue and she will be in the finish.

CROWN HIM drops in weight but takes on the older horses here. I like the three-year-olds when taking the older horses on, and his last start win was quite dominant.

HIT THE FLOOR was a touch one-paced second-up and quickly rises to 1550m third-up. That looks to suit and there was some confidence about him last start.

SELECTIONS: No 2 LIAPARI, No 5 Assertin Mischief, No 8 Crown Him, No 9 Hit The Floor.

VALUE RUNNER: No 5 Assertin Mischief.
