Race 1 1:15pm BREAKERS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1100m
TIME OUT OF MIND (BEST BET) has trialled in very good fashion twice this time in. They have both been in quick time and both trials were here at Gosford. Shinn being booked is a big pointer and this colt looks to start his career with a win.
SELECTIONS: No 2 TIME OUT OF MIND, No 3 Diva Lamore, No 4 Laureole, No 5 Twinhit.
VALUE RUNNER: No 5 Twinhit.

No 5 - ALMADOL
Race 5 3:40pm CAROMA MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
BALTIC WHISPER (NEXT BEST) drops out of Saturday grade and gets blinkers on for the first time. His last-start run was quite good and previous to that played up at the gates when beaten at 1.40. With Shinn on he should go to the front, control and prove too good.
SELECTIONS: No 1 BALTIC WHISPER, No 7 Sabai Sabai, No 2 Moki, No 4 Jawdaa.
VALUE RUNNER: No 4 Jawdaa.
Race 6 4:15pm BRIAN HILTON TOYOTA MAIDEN PLATE 2100m
BLACKMAKER was just run down late last start at Kembla. He backs up quickly and goes up to the 2100m which should suit. Schofield should control the speed and prove hard to run down.
ROVING EYE (BEST ROUGHIE) ran home in quick time last start. He has the grounding at this trip and should be there or thereabouts.
CHARLIE’S DAY has been looking for this trip ever since he started off at the trials. He gets a good claim and will be running on late.
STREET COMIC was good enough over 1600m last start. The step up to 2100m looks suitable here and I wouldn’t be surprised if he settled closer in the run.
SELECTIONS: No 1 BLACKMAKER, No 3 Roving Eye, No 5 Charlie’s Day, No 6 Street Comic.
VALUE RUNNER: No 3 Roving Eye.
Race 7 4:50pm ROBSON CIVIL PROJECTS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1200m
No 6 – SINGLE AND FREE
No 7 – MAGIC ARLI
No 4 – DORF STAR
No 1 – SNITZEL KNIGHT
Race 8 5:30pm ERIS MCCARTHY F&M BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1100m
GENETEAU was a super impressive trailer behind Winning Rupert at Rosehill. She was stakes placed early on in her career and she looks really well set up for a first-up kill here with Shinn on board.
MISS DEBUTANTE showed them a clean pair of heels first up and won well. This looks a good next step for her.
PHOEBE’S LASS won well at Newcastle second-up. That race was run in quick time. She now goes up in the weights for that, but it was a strong win.
RACY was just touched off in a seriously fast run race first-up. She should take improvement from that run and gets in well with a claim here.
SELECTIONS: No 8 GENETEAU, No 5 Miss Debutante, No 3 Phoebe’s Lass, No 4 Racy.
VALUE RUNNER: No 3 Phoebe’s Lass.
