Seven races on the card here and we kick off with an intriguing 2yo race

Mon, 12 Dec, 12:00 AM
Seven races on the card here and we kick off with an intriguing 2yo race, where many have trialed quite well and all seven fillies are on debut.

Blake Shinn and Hugh Bowman look to have really good books here and it could pay to follow them throughout, especially Bowman, who has been in great form as of late, with a win in the International Jockey’s Challenge in Hong Kong last week.

The rail is true throughout and the track is in the good range. There’s a slight chance of a shower come race day though.

QUADDIES (Races 4-5-6-7)

Skinny: 2,3 – 1,2,8 – 5 – 1,2,6
Wide: 1,2,3,7,8,9,11 – 1,2,8 – 4,5,7,8 – 1,2,6,8

Best Bet: R3 – 6. Peaceful Sea
Next Best Bet: R2 – 4. Addicticraft
Best Roughie: R7 – 6. Perizada

R1 - 1:45PM SCHWEPPES PLATE – 1100m

Dame Pattie This daughter of Alinghi has had two trials in preparation for her debut run. Her last trial was solid as she found the line through the pack without much effort and will be hard to beat here.

Membership Trialed very stylishly over the short course at Randwick. She looks to be an early runner.

Debonairly Gets blinkers on for a debut run after a solid trial at the track on 2/12. Being a Gai runner she will take up the speed and be the one to run down.

Te Amo Closed off quite well in that same trial and did it under her own steam. She will be the one flying at them late

SELECTIONS: No 1 DAME PATTIE, No 4 Membership, No 2 Debonairly, No 5 Te Amo

R2 – 2:20PM TAB HANDICAP - 2200m

No 4 Addicticraft (NEXT BEST BET) Broke through for a well-deserved win last start at Hawkesbury. He ran through the line really well that day and the further he went, the bigger the margin was. The step up to 2200m will only suit him here. He is the new blood on the scene here, and after the claim for Panya he gets in even better at the weights.

No 1 Mr Steal

No 2 Grand Allowance

No 5 Bella Galeano

No 6 Peaceful Sea (BEST BET) Wasn’t at all suited by how the race was run first-up at Canterbury. She was stuck on the fence in a small field and really hit the line well. The step up to 1400m second-up is ideal, as is the booking of Bowman. It’s a long straight run to the home turn here, and from gate (5) she should get clear galloping room and prove too strong.

No 5 Oklahoma Girl

No 4 Krusty

No 9 Gracious Grey

R4 - 3:35PM TAB.COM.AU HANDICAP - 1300m

Nonpareil Finally broke through last start for a well-deserved win. She ran a really good time that day, gets a good jockey change in Doyle on, and will be hard to beat.

Invincible Gem Won well first-up and was really well backed that day to win that race. The form around her leading in had been quite good and she looks above average.

Bold Carlota Won really well on debut. She let down with a really good sprint to finish over the top of them. Up to the 1300m suits, but to the tight Warwick Farm circuit may be a negative.

Sugarparma Finished off really well first-up behind Hammond Lane. She should have taken great fitness improvement from that.

SELECTIONS: No 3 Nonpareil, No 2 Invincible Gem, No 9 Bold Carlota, No 11 Sugarparma

VALUE RUNNER: No 11 Sugarparma

Realise Potential Drops back from Saturday grade here and put up a big effort that day coming from well off them. After the 3kg claim he is well suited and has a chance.

Big Arty Comes out of a hot race behind Sweet Redemption on Melbourne Cup day. The trial since has been good and with the blinkers back on he can bounce back here.

Fanfaron Smashed them at Newcastle last start. That was in maiden grade yes, but there was something to like about that win and he can take the next step here.

Fortensky Comes back off a debut win here and has trialed in good fashion twice now. Blinkers on first-up and Bowman only adds to the chances here.

SELECTIONS: No 1 Realise Potential, No 2 Big Arty, No 8 Fanfaron, No 10 Fortensky

Star Crossed Has tuned up for this with two solid trials. They have both been run in solid time and he has done them really easily. Love that he has had a trial over 1000m and if I could have a third best bet, this would be it.

Blazing Steel Was just horrid first-up at Wyong, simple as that. Back to the trials since and it was serviceable enough. The debut win was huge and if he finds that form, lookout.

Supa Vision Is at his preferred distance here and is a flying machine. The trial leading in was good and he will be the one to run down.

Invincible Dame Has good form around her and at the 1000m. First-up with Bowman aboard she is a player here.

SELECTIONS: No 5 Star Crossed, No 4 Blazing Steel, No 7 Supa Vision, No 8 Invincible Dame

VALUE RUNNER: No 7 Supa Vision

Perizada Dominant winner last start at Canberra. She gets her chance to break through here at City grade and gets a handy claim.

Credit Card Miss Won well last start in a showcase race at Muswellbrook. She gets the claim for Magorrian here and gets this horse in well at 58kgs.

No Interest Was a big winner at Goulburn on Cup day. She has an impeccable record at the 1300-1400m distance range and gets in well at the weights.

Anisha Won really well first-up and was well backed to win that day too. Second up at her home track she has a chance.

SELECTIONS: No 6 Perizada, No 2 Credit Card Miss, No 1 No Interest, No 8 Anisha

VALUE RUNNER: No 6 Perizada
