Warwick Farm Betting Preview | Horse Racing Tips

Warwick Farm for the usual midweek meeting. Looks to be one of those in-between meetings here which makes it a little trickier, however we still have all 7 winners to find and we shall delve into that.

Tue, 27 Dec, 19:42
Really hot weather in store for us over the next few days. The rail is +5m 1000m to WP, +3m remainder and the track is good.

QUADDIES (Races 4-5-6-7)

Skinny: 5 – 10 – 1,7,8,9 – 2,7,8,10
Wide: 3,4,5,6 – 2,8,9,10 – 1,3,7,8,9,11 – 1,2,7,8,10

Best Bet: R1 N2 GOHSTLY
Next Best Bet: R3 N4 AXIOMATIC
Best Roughie: R2 N13 VANDERLUNE

No 2 GHOSTLY (BEST BET) Hard not to be impressed by both of his trials leading into a first-up run. He had the first of two over 1030 at Randwick where he worked through his gears well. He then came back “home” for a trial here over 800 where he found the line strongly without being asked to do much. Fresh on his home track he will be hard to hold out.

No 7 Sahara Emaar

No 3 Longreach

No 1 Australia Justice

Deipara Trialed well on two occasions, has the same set up as Ghostly in R1 as they trailed over 1030 and 800m coming in. Form around her is good enough for this.

Serena’s Pride Has trialled well on both occasions coming in, form around her is rock solid and she will be the one to run down.

Vanderlune Gets blinkers on for her debut run and hasn’t been asked to do a lot in her trials. She’s trained out of Waller’s Warwick Farm stable and should have every chance from a soft gate.

Tutu Could sneak under the radar here with two short-course trials. Thompson’s horses are in good form at the minute.

SELECTIONS: No 6 Deipara, No 10 Serena’s Pride, No 13 Vanderlune, No 12 Tutu

VALUE RUNNER: No 13 Vanderlune

No 4 AXIOMATIC (NEXT BEST BET) Killed them at Kembla like she should have. The win was plain arrogant and a sign of things to come. Up to the mile for the first time will suit perfectly and she should get all favours from gate (7).

No 6 Smart As

No 1 Krusty

No 3 Gothenburg

Calypso Bay Comes off big wins at his last two, albeit in weaker grades than this, but he has smashed them and some of these are going around week in, week out.

No Return Should be suited coming up in distance finally, he has been out-dashed at Canterbury and with the long straight run to the turn he can work through his gears.

Bella Galeano Is well-suited by the new weight scale here getting down to 53.5. Just touched off last start in a race where the form has held up, she is a chance.

I’m Bulletproof Did the job well last start, right down in the weights he could give some cheek here.

SELECTIONS: No 5 Calypso Bay, No 3 No Return, No 6 Bella Galeano, No 4 I’m Bulletproof

VALUE RUNNER: No 6 Bella Galeano

Fortensky Got way too far back last week in a race that wasn’t run to suit. He hit the line well there, this is a touch weaker and he’s hard to hold out.

Fashion Sniptz Finished off well enough first up and wasn’t too far off them. Down in weight and up to 1400 suits here.

Istanbul Has been out of form late, but is full of talent and the D Williams stable are starting to fire again!

He’s A Given Comes back to his home track here after a good run last start. If he brings that form to this he has his chance.

SELECTIONS: No 10 Fortensky, No 8 Fashion Sniptz, No 9 Istanbul, No 2 He’s A Given

VALUE RUNNER: No 9 Istanbul

Express Point Has trialled well enough coming into this, the form around Painted Firetail last prep is good enough for here, Portelli flying currently too.

Balmain Girl Was a winner at the track last prep and has trialled well enough. The claim for Heywood is a good one and she has a chance here.

Modha Comes out of a good race last start at Canterbury, back on top of the ground she will be better suited by.

Magnajoy Was beaten too far on a Saturday last start, they ran a fast time that day and the form needs to be respected.

SELECTIONS: No 9 Express Point, No 8 Balmain Girl, No 7 Modha, No 1 Magnajoy

VALUE RUNNER: No 9 Express Point

Aaralyn Has trialled well enough on two occasions coming into a first-up run here. The form last prep was good enough here.

Dorf Star On the quick backup looks well suited, he really attacked the line there and you want horses like that on your side.

Bells Of War Hit the line well enough first up. Avdulla on and a good second-up record gives her a hope here.

Valiant Mate Won well in slick time last start; he may sneak under the radar here due to his connections. But the win was good!

SELECTIONS: No 2 Aaralyn, No 8 Dorf Star, No 7 Bells Of War, No 10 Valiant Mate.

VALUE RUNNER: No 2 Aaralyn
