- Best Roughie: R3 – 11. ALL TROOPS
R1 – 12.32pm. CHRIS ANDERSON RACING RACEDAY BenchMark 75 Handicap - 2212m.
NO 2 COURT'S STAR Good effort this distance and type of race at his last start when second. He is drawn to lead or be on the pace here so he must be respected.
NO 9 WALWA Ran home very well this track and distance to finish third last start when not having much luck. That was his best run away from home track at the Gold Coast and will improve.
NO 3 MORENDI He was strong at the finish last time off a solid pace. He should get the same here and be hard to hold out despite weight hike.
NO 6 LADY NO MORE She looked the winner at the 200m but just peaked last start. Will be fitter and a real hope here.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 9 WALWA
R3 – 1.42pm. OPTUS BUSINESS CENTRE Class 6 Handicap - 1000m.
NO 6 QUATRONIC Rosehill winner two runs before a spell and had no luck when failed at next start in tough race at Doomben when caught wide. Has won a recent trial and looks well placed here for comeback run.
NO 11 ALL TROOPS (Best Roughie) Gets back in his races but if the pace is on, which it will be, he can finish fast. Will be good odds and looks best roughie of the day.
NO 8 FREQUENDLY Back in her right grade here and does handle this track. Will be on the pace for a long way.
NO 3 HI I'M BACK Unbeaten in two starts this track but has drawn very wide. Nevertheless horses can win from out wide here so rates a chance.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 11 ALL TROOPS
R2 – 1.07pm. BJW DEVELOPMENTS QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap - 1000m.
NO 4 CITRAIN This is a tricky race but first starter Citrain did trial well when second in a handy Gold Coast trial two weeks ago. From a good two-year-old stable and has a hope.
NO 3 PINSTRYKE Was a strong winner at her only start. The minor placegetters have been fair in races since but she looked as though the run will have been a great benefit.
NO 7 TRESTRAIL First starter who ran third in the trial where Citrain was second. She wasn't asked to do much and should be fitter now.
NO 9 TEN FOOT TALL Continues to work well but has done plenty wrong in her two race starts. Give her one more chance here.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 9 TEN FOOT TALL
R4 – 2.17pm. CHRIS ANDERSON RACING OPEN Handicap - 1200m.
NO 3 UPSTART PRIDE If one horse has nearly driven us up the wall it is Upstart Pride. The day we tip him he usually misses the start but the day we don't he jumps to the lead and wins. Good winner last start and nicely placed at the weights here after a 2kgs claim. Looks the winner but we will know after 100m.
NO 11 SKYLIMIT Still eligible for easier races but is beautifully bred and learning to race truly now. He is being ridden in behind and should be hard to beat.
NO 8 EL SASSO Has some very good Sydney form before being sent north. Probably wants a wet track but still rates highly despite poor effort last start.
NO 2 GUEST OF HONOUR A Group performer in England, America and Victoria but recent form was terrible before being sent north. He won a trial in strong fashion recently and might be getting back to his best.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 2 GUEST OF HONOUR
R5 – 2.57pm. CARBONE DEVELOPMENTS Class 6 Plate - 1400m.
NO 6 MYSTIC OPAL Was back to her dynamic best last start when she demolished a similar field to this. Not badly placed under the Plate conditions and looks the one to beat.
NO 4 TIME TO TORQUE Has won his two starts back from a spell in impressive fashion. Like all horses from the Kelly Doughty stable is tough and fit. Top chance again.
NO 13 DEE NINE ELLE She has plenty of pace and should be handy throughout from the good barrier with a light weight.
NO 14 PRINCESS CHARM Strong win at the Gold Coast when came from a mile back. She is weighted to do the same here.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 13 DEE NINE ELLE
R6 – 3.37pm. ASCOT CHILDCARE & KINDY OPENING SOON Class 3 Plate - 1400m.
NO 5 HAVASAY Always needs luck in his races but can sprint very quickly in the final 200m if he gets early cover. This is a hard race but looks suited with a top jockey here.
NO 12 OUR STORY Wanted to hang in the straight but still too good last start this track. Another who is poorly but gets the best of the weights under the Plate scale.
NO 2 KARAKABEEL Poorly placed under the weight scale here but very strong winner two runs back and then a certainty beaten last time when checked several times in the straight.
NO 15 CANDIKA Smart three-year-old who gets into the race well at the weights as a Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic placegetter. But the barrier is a worry.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 12 OUR STORY
R7 – 4.17pm. CHRIS ANDERSON RACING OWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES OPEN Handicap - 1600m.
NO 2 L'ENTRECOTE (BEST BET) He looks very hard to beat provided it doesn't rain. Well drawn and has a top jockey. The weights have been compressed here so gets in very well.
NO 8 HUDSON COUNTY Has been racing in much easier races in the northern rivers but has been winning with huge weights. He has a claim here meaning he drops 10kgs on last run. Will be among the leaders and this isn't tough.
NO 1 TRANSPORTER On his day is a stakes class horse and came back from two years injury induced break to win this track and distance. Gets in well again with a 3kgs claim.
NO 9 GLENDARA His form doesn't look flash but this is exactly the type of race he could win at odds. Respect.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 9 GLENDARA
R8 – 4.55pm. ANDERSONRACING.COM.AU QTIS Three-Years-Old Handicap - 1200m.
NO 1 RINGO'S A ROCKSTAR (NEXT BEST BET) Has never run a bad race and very good last start when second this class, track and distance. This is a very hard race but he looks the top chance.
NO 6 SPRING TYCOON He is a very promising horse who will be at his top at 1600m. He is one of many who gets in well at the weights the way they have been compressed.
NO 11 MUDDY ROPE Nearly fell at the start last time and deserves another chance. Has shown plenty of promise.
NO 2 OINK Another promising galloper who should have benefited from a spell. Many rate him a future topliner so respect here.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 1 RINGO'S A ROCKSTAR
