Eagle Farm Betting Tips & Preview
Betting Tips for every race at Eagle Farm. Today’s best bet is in race 6.
Back to Eagle Farm with the rail out 2.5 metres from the 1200m to the 400m and true the rest of the way. It was true the entire circuit on Saturday when horses were getting away from the fence in the straight. Some leaders did win but they moved wide in the straight. We would expect the same pattern again with the track to be in the good range.

- Best Roughie: R8 - 11. LADY NO MORE
R1 – 12.25pm. SKY THOROUGHBRED CENTRAL Maiden Plate - 1200m.
NO 5 OLYMPIC PRINCE Led and really tried hard in the straight when last start third this track. Placed three of six starts and gets a chance to finally win here with a 3kgs claim.
NO 1 FAST CHOICE Has been a star of the trials having had four of them and winning two including latest when impressive. At her only start was second at the Sunshine Coast in a handy maiden.
NO 8 SIRTIME Has had plenty of chances but has run some good races including a last-start second at Doomben behind a horse which has won again since.
NO 2 GOOD CATCH Showed early promise with a couple of handy placings but recent form only fair. Fitter for a trial and one comeback run and ready to improve.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 2 GOOD CATCH
R2 – 1.05pm. SUPERHERO SATURDAY QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate - 1200m.
NO 13 HUSSON BOOTS Has been placed six of nine starts which about sums her up. But she did hit the line well last time when second at Doomben and she has a few things in her favour this time.
NO 6 RED RIGHT OUT This is a hard race but he trialled well when impressive at Deagon before having no luck at first run when third at the Gold Coast. Only run since was in November when again had no luck behind a very smart horse.
NO 1 ENGRAVED He was well fancied at second run back from a spell but only fair in the run to the line. He should be fitter now and ready to run well here.
NO 2 MR ATTITUDE We liked his run at Ipswich when an unlucky second and then second again at Doomben last time when didn't have much luck.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 6 RED RIGHT OUT
R3 – 1.40pm. VEUVE SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP Fillies and Mares Class 4 Handicap - 1200m.
NO 1 STAR OF NIGHT (Next Best Bet) She has always shown plenty of ability but has had her share of leg problems. Back to her best with a powerful win at Doomben last start and suited with a 3kgs claim here.
NO 5 MY GIRL HAYLEY She has been a gross disappointment for most of her career but admittedly usually in Saturday company. Probably needs a soft lead and could get that here.
NO 7 SHEEZALADY Yet another good run and yet another minor placing when second at Ipswich. Always around the money and down in weights here in tougher race than last time.
NO 6 SOLAR BURST No official trial but has had a jump out for comeback run since last start in August. First-up record isn't bad and each-way claims look strong.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 7 SHEEZALADY
R4 – 2.20pm. GIRLS DAY OUT RACEDAY Class 3 Handicap - 1400m.
NO 2 OUR STORY Promising horse who was a good winner this track and then went around deep when beaten only two-lengths into sixth place in a Saturday race this track. This is easier and looking for another crack at 1400m.
NO 4 OCEAN CITY Wasn't that far away in some very good standard races in Sydney before coming north. Showed ability with strong win at Ipswich last time and suited this bigger track.
NO 1 LOW PLACES It has been a while since he has won or even run a place. But his form in Sydney was okay in harder races than this. Has yet to win under 2200m but with a 3kgs claim here could surprise.
NO 6 ZENDAYE Getting back to his best form which saw him race well in stakes races during the winter. Went to Murwillumbah last start where he ran into a promising horse and finished second. This track and distance suit better.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 1 LOW PLACES
R5 – 2.57pm. HAMILTON HOTEL Class 2 Handicap - 1800m.
NO 2 ROSADOR She does not have a good win strike rate but solid in handy company before last start Murwillumbah win at 2020m. Might be ready to string some wins together now.
NO 6 PERILOUS LOVE Forget her last-start failure in a much tougher race at Doomben last start and go on previous win this distance at the Gold Coast. Some rain wouldn't harm her chances.
NO 1 HIGH WIND They don't come much better bred than him but he is just a plodder. Battled away for a last-start third at the Sunshine Coast. This distance suits and drawn to get a good run.
NO 9 MINSK Failed only attempt this trip but was strong at the finish when winning at the Sunshine Coast over 1600m last time. Good win because a few things went wrong before the start of that race.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 9 MINSK
R6 – 3.35pm. RACEZONE Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 4 Handicap - 1200m.
NO 6 APOLOBOOM (Best Bet) Had very good Victorian form for a race like this before first-up second this area over 1000m at this track two weeks ago. Placed both runs second-up and has a 2kgs claim. Very hard to beat here.
NO 8 BEAT STREET He can mix his form because he can be slow to jump. Provided he gets away he can repeat his last start Sunshine Coast run.
NO 3 CONFRONTING He has been most consistent since coming north from Victoria with his worst run of late being a fourth at the Sunshine Coast last time. A smart 3kgs claim here gives him a strong chance.
NO 7 MYSTICAL RENEGADE Has trialled okay since last start good Gold Coast win in January. This looks a suitable city race for him.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 3 CONFRONTING
R7 – 4.15pm. WWW.BRC.COM.AU Ratings Band 0 - 65 Handicap - 1000m.
NO 6 RHYMING She is a very promising filly who has had no official trial for comeback run here. But has had a jump out and does go well fresh.
NO 10 STOLE THE SHOW Doesn't win many but never far away in these type of races. Probably should have won at last start when second at the Sunshine Coast this distance.
NO 2 ASHGROVIAN Tough restricted class horse who is short on natural ability but big on heart. Always a chance these races and some rain would make him even harder to beat.
NO 4 GOOD TO BE GREAT Form around the provincial tracks is solid and this isn't much harder than last start second at Ipswich when had little luck early from a wide barrier.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 2 ASHGROVIAN
R8 – 4.55pm. BRC MEMBERSHIPS Class 5 Handicap - 1800m.
NO 1 BLACKJACK BELLA She has never been out of the place this distance and very good second at 1800m behind in form Arki last time at the Sunshine Coast when came from a long way back. Big weight and bad barrier but has a class edge here.
NO 11 LADY NO MORE (Best Roughie) Honest mare who has found the 2200m in Saturday class a shade too far at her last two starts when fourth both times. A 1700m winner three runs back and the 1800m here looks ideal. Will be good odds.
NO 3 SLYDINI Caught everyone napping when won his first race on a good track from ten goes last time at 1600m. Looking for 1800m and has a 3kgs claim. No prizes for guessing would start favourite if we get an afternoon storm.
NO 4 BRACTEATE Another looking for 1800m and a good second here last time at 1600m. A 2kgs claim and barrier one are a big plus for him.
VALUE RUNNER: NO 11 LADY NO MORE
