Kilmore Betting Tips & Preview
Betting Tips for every race at Kilmore. Our best bet is in race 6.
This is a tough eight-race card. With four open maidens and a distance race it makes it very hard to find a winner. The rail is at the true position and the track is rated as a Good 4. The weather forecast is to be fine. Suggest to keep a close eye on any betting moves.

No 2 MR DE NIRO Hard race but am going with this gelding on his debut last August.
No 8 VAI AVANTI First-up here and is well-bred. Take on trust.
No 3 RYBOY Two runs under belt and keep safe.
No 6 PRIX D’EXCELLENCE Made steady ground last time and worth thought.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 PRIX D’EXCELLENCE
R2 – 1.00pm. bet365 Super VOBIS 3yo Maiden Plate – 1200m.
No 8 TENAPPY LADIES Had a soft trial and on Moonee Valley run in June can win here.
No 6 REBOW Has lugging bit fitted and did trial okay.
<12> No 5 NOTABLE CHOICE Gets back and can run home strongly.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 REBOW
R3 – 1.30pm. Watergardens Town Centre Maiden Plate – 1600m.
No 6 MARCHING ON Entered for Sandown Wednesday but this is much easier.
No 11 SEISMIC WARNING Blinkers off and can bounce back.
No 4 DOPPLER Well-liked and solid run last start.
No 5 KAPPY CINO Battled on well at debut and will be fitter.
VALUE RUNNER: No 5 KAPPY CINO
R4 – 2.00pm. Mitchelton Estate 'Blackwood Park' Riesling BM58 Handicap – 1100m.
No 3 THE SQUATTER (Best Roughie) Very open affair and won trial over 1100m at Echuca on February 14 easily.
No 6 DE VALOR Tried hard but was no match for opposition last time. This is mild.
No 2 GRIZZLY Returning off a 184-day break and may sprint well fresh.
No 4 BEN’S SPIRIT Veteran galloper who has won two of six starts first-up.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 DE VALOR
R5 – 2.30pm. Mitchelton Estate Shiraz Class 1 Handicap – 1450m.
No 2 LE BOSS Looks to be his race. He was held twice at vital stages in the race before finishing ninth over 1500m at Cranbourne on January 6. Brad Rawiller keeps the ride and he goes up a kilo to 59.5kg for the drop in class. He was specked at $5 into $4.60 last time and can redeem himself here.
No 3 MAGMELLOU Was agitated before the start and battled on well enough to give another chance here when racing first-up and ninth over 1200m at Pakenham on February 9. Luke Nolen rides again.
No 6 OUTDONE Took time to recover from the run when finishing sixth at Werribee over 2000m on January 27. Eased in betting from $5.50 to $6.50 that day and is worth another look.
No 1 MYKI Showed enough when fought on well to run a handy fourth over 1400m at Pakenham on February 9. Goes up a half kilo to 60kg and Daniel Stackhouse keeps the ride. Respect.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 OUTDONE
R6 – 3.00pm. Grand Handicap 2000m March 18 Win & You're In BM64 – 1900m.
No 10 THREE STRYKES (BEST BET) This is far easier than last start when fought hard to run second to the talented Doom ‘n’ Boom over 2100m at Sandown on February 8. Gets a riding change with Craig Williams replaced by Regan Bayliss and don’t expect to get $8 here. She is now fully fit and her city form suggests she should be hard to beat.
No 7 QUEEN GORGO Was a beaten favourite last start when outmuscled in the finish. Can redeem.
No 4 MOMENTARY Posted an easy win as a $3.80 favourite at Moe over 1609m on February 3. Chance.
VALUE RUNNER: No 4 MOMENTARY
R7 – 3.30pm. Thank You Gary Buckley Handicap – 1600m.
No 2 BRILLIANT JET (NEXT BEST BET) Tasmanian form was top class before making Victorian debut with a second over 1670m at Stawell on February 16. Was a noted drifter from $3.80 to $8 that day and he strikes a moderate bunch in this restricted handicap. Can go one better.
No 3 SHE’S GOT MORE First-up and specked from $31 into $21 and ran well enough to suggest here.
No 1 SHAQ Blinkers go back on here and gets Michael Dee to ride. Fitter.
No 4 QUEUE FOR QUALITY Blinkers are back on and recent country form has been most solid.
VALUE RUNNER: No 1 SHAQ
R8 – 4.00pm. Kilmore Pacing Cup 18 March 2017 BM58 Handicap – 2100m.
No 5 FOREVER TRUE This is a hard race to end the card on. She ran a great race at Flemington two starts ago and last start she ran a solid sixth over 2400m at Sandown on February 1. She jumps up to 59kg but if she can carry should prove too strong here.
No 9 DARCIONIC Was stepped up to a journey for the first time this prep when finishing a sound third over 2063m at Moe on February 3. Michael Dee is the new rider and he has claims.
No 14 INALA ANGEL Goes up in distance but was a solid enough run when being checked slightly before finishing eighth over 1600m at Ballarat on February 7. Jye McNeil keeps the ride and carries a kilo more on 55kg.
No 17 GIFT FROM HEAVEN Peaked last time when running fifth over 2460m at Mornington on January 28. With Mitchell Aitken’s 2kg claim carries no weight on 52kg. Has some appeal.
VALUE RUNNER: No 14 INALA ANGEL
