Warwick Farm for the midweek meeting this week, we have had some rain around over the weekend and leading into it. The track is a heavy 8 at the minute of writing (Monday evening) and will be soft at best. The rail is +3m Entire Circuit.
No 1 REFLECTIVITY Should have won on debut if not for ducking in late and costing himself the win. The two trials leading in have been good.
No 3 ASTORIA Trialled up well enough as you’d expect given the stable. They haven’t been firing as of late but the trials are too good to ignore.
No 12 MILEAGE (Best Roughie) Has trialled up really well, the last in really good time. She will be over the odds due to the trainer and jock combo.
No 2 FAEGER Ran well on debut and should be more suited here second-up.
VALUE RUNNER: No 12 MILEAGE
No 1 DIAMONDS ARE (Best Bet) Started odds on, on debut beaten by Russian Revolution. That’s some hot form lines. The trials leading in have been very good and from barrier 4 he should get the right run and be hard to beat.
No 3 STAR OF MONSOON Is in on Tuesday at Kembla, but has a chance if she runs here.
No 4 NOIRE Has trialled up well and has a chance here.
No 6 RED HEARTS Has been good in both runs this time in and is a chance.
VALUE RUNNER: No 4 NOIRE
No 2 REGAL MONARCH Looks ready to win here, he is dropping back in grade from Saturday level. The wet track here is suitable. The Waller team is starting to fire now and I want them on my side.
No 1 VASSAL Won well last start, but can’t see him stringing two in a row.
No 4 DIVINE SANCTION Ran on well last start from an unsuitable position. Back at home with the senior = chance.
No 8 SPOOKY WOOKY Steps up again here, but won well last start.
VALUE RUNNER: No 8 SPOOKY WOOKY
No 4 BRAVISSIMO (Next Best Bet) Won well last start and didn’t look to handle conditions. On debut he started fav over Yankee Rose and Good Standing. Out to 1400m suits and he looks to have a few lengths on these.
No 3 AUSTRALIANA Should take up the speed here and be hard to run down.
No 5 GRETNA Had her chance the other day, but was beaten by a good wet tracker. 1400m suits.
No 7 DRACHENFELS Probably won’t like the wet going, but is full of talent.
VALUE RUNNER: No 5 GRETNA
No 10 TERMINALLY PRETTY Won maiden in fast time last start, Adkins is one of the better apprentices here and looks hard to beat.
No 5 ROSA CAROLINA Found the line well last start, the 2kgs for King here is good.
No 2 PEDWAY Is in on Tuesday in Kembla, not sure where he runs. But hard to beat wherever he turns up.
No 6 VALIANT MATE Has been in good form as of late and has a chance.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 VALIANT MATE
No 1 BROADSIDE Has a great record and has trialled quite well leading into the first-up run here.
No 4 MORTAR PLATOON Won well last start and looks to be improving with each and every start here in Australia.
No 5 POSITIVE PROBLEMS Slopped through the wet going last start and won well, similar conditions to suit here.
No 9 EVA LUNA Enjoys soft going and has been in good form as of late.
VALUE RUNNER: No 5 POSITIVE PROBLEMS
No 7 FIFTEEN SUNFLOWERS Has been in great form this preparation, drawn to get the good run again and will have the last shot.
No 5 BAROOD Ran on well first-up, the three weeks between runs is suitable and he is full of talent, but on wet?
No 1 DUPE 'EM Has shown his best on the wet tracks, but was horrid first-up.
No 3 SUPER MAXI Has good form in soft going and has a chance.
VALUE RUNNER: No 1 DUPE 'EM
No 1 SUPPLY AND DEMAND Didn’t have much luck in both runs this time in. He looks ready to win here.
No 8 PROANE Went well first-up from a spell. Unknown on wet going, but should handle it.
No 2 ACHI BABA Ran on well first-up from a spell and finds a winnable race.
No 12 O'REILLY ANGEL Won well first-up and gets in with no weight here.
VALUE RUNNER: No 8 PROANE
