No2 AL SHAMEEL Lumped 59kg to victory over 1850m at Kyneton on March 6. Beau Mertens’ 2kg claims drops his weight to 59kg. He won with a leg in the air last time and demands to be respected on his recent form.

No8 ATHENA LASS She is bound to be improved on first-up third over 1000m here on February 24. Gets Ben Allen’s 1.5kg reducing her impost to 55.5kg. She has a great record at this track and over the short-courses.
No4 BALANCING ACT She is flying high on the provincial tracks and chases a hat-trick here. Latest won over 1000m at Werribee on February 24. She has 58.5kg, which is a half-kilo more in weight than at her last start.
