No4 TECZA Was a good 800m trial winner at Cranbourne. Watch betting.

No13 MILLIE THE MISSILE (BEST BET) Will be blindfolded for the first time and has the stallion chain removed. Has been competitive at all three starts. Latest ran a good third over 1600m against her own sex and age at Moonee Valley on January 27. She is well drawn in three to gain a soft run and makes strong appeal.
No2 NANGAWOOKA Fought hard to finish a close third first up and is a chance here.
No3 PURPLE RIDER Was at $26 and ran well to run third first-up here. Can improve.
No12 WHITE LADY Is a well-bred filly by Snitzel making her debut for a leading stable.

No8 BACKSTREET LOVER (NEXT BEST BET) Can take control of this race from the front and dictate terms. Is better suited at this trip than when ridden by apprentice Ben Thompson and ran fourth over 1800m at Sandown on March 15. Senior jockey Jamie Mott is the new rider and drops a kilo on last start to 57kg.
No3 LORD SHERWOOD Was a runaway winner at Arat over 1600m. Is the danger.
No4 VANTAGGIO Carried 60kg to an easy victory last time. Has 59kg here.
No5 MR CHURCHILL Has been a model of consistency and will again be a force.

No3 HOT RUBY Scored a flawless 1¾ length win over 1600m against her own sex at Caulfield on February 4. Damian Lane is an able replacement to Craig Williams. This is a tricky race and be careful.
No4 THROSSELL Drops down sharply in class here on two runs this campaign. Latest ran 15th in the Group 1 Australian Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on March 4. Luke Nolen replaces Linda Meech.
No8 PRESSCOTT Dwayne Dunn gets the ride and drops 2.5kg to 56kg here on second over 2040m at Moonee Valley on January 21. Is out of the powerhouse stable of Chris Waller and has a good record fresh.
No2 STANBOROUGH (BEST ROUGHIE) Has performed well on provincial tracks and comes here off a solid second over 1200m at Mildura on March 12. With Stephen Brown’s 2kg claim carries 59kg.

No9 LILAC LANE Was outsprinted when racing down the straight 1100m at Flemington on March 11. Better here around a bend and gets top jockey Damian Lane to ride on 57kg.
No5 MUCCINO Fought hard but found Nic Nac too good on the wire when second over 1200m here on March 9. Gets a change of rider with Chris Symons replacing Steve Arnold.
No3 SONG ONE Failed to show dash but fought on well enough when finishing fourth off a 63-day break over 1200m at Cranbourne on March 3. Ryan Maloney rides again on 59.5kg and has claims.
No1 CHAVUMA Carried a big weight on 59.5kg when ridden by Brad Rawiller to run second over 1200m here on March 2. Apprentice Ethan Brown’s 2kg claim sees him carry 60.5kg here.

No3 RED RIGHT HAND Posted an impressive 2¾ length maiden win over 1600m here off a break on March 9. Jamie Mott keeps the ride and goes up a half-kilo to 58.5kg. Drawn the rail.
No7 NORTHERN CHARM Won at Tatura before running a solid second over 1600m here on March 7. Jake Noonan keeps the ride and goes up a half-kilo to 56.5kg. Must rate with claims again.
No10 WHAT A STRYKER Was having her third start back from a spell when finishing a sound fourth over 1400m here on March 2. Carries the same weight on 55.5kg and has Noel Callow to ride again.
No1 CHEQUERED FLAG Hails from a top stable and first-up form is okay. Not raced since finishing second over 2400m at Tarang on December 10. Brad Rawiller rides on 59.5kg and rates as an each-way hope.
