No8 PLATINUM ANGEL Showed good pace to win a jump out at Ballarat. She is a $220,000 graduate out of the Gold Coast yearling sale and is by champion sire Snitzel. Trainer Darren Weir will have her tuned.
<12> No4 FREEZE OVER Is a well-bred filly who showed a heap of speed at her jump out at Caulfield on March 21. She has top rider Damian Lane to steer her across from gate nine and respect.

Apprentice Ben Allen’s 1.5kg claim reduces his weight to 57.5kg and he should get a nice and easy run up forward and break a string of placings.
No5 CHIMA Has been well-fancied at three runs this campaign and give a chance.
No7 EOLANDE Has the in-form Beau Mertens to ride and his 1.5kg claim sees her on 56kg.
No8 RIVER GODDESS Is better suited here and will be fitter for first-up run.

No5 GREAT SOUTHERN Scored a brilliant win fresh over 1200m at Pakenham on March 16. Gets the hot apprentice Beau Mertens to ride and his claim reduces his impost to 58kg and makes good appeal.
No10 PORT TRIANO Has been in excellent form and capable of going one better than when finishing second over 1300m at Bendigo on March 14. Having Damien Oliver as his new rider is a big plus.
No1 LAUCHETTI Has been winning well at lucrative odds and is chasing a hat-trick here. With Jordan Childs’ 1.5kg claim carries 60.5kg, which is 2.5kg more than when he won over 1300m here on March 13.
