No 1 OBSCURA (BEST BET) is now third-up from a year’s break and won well last start after a good fresh run. He looks as if he is on the path to the QLD Derby and a win here would help him with that.
No 2 SHOW ‘EM ran on quite well last start and now up to the mile suits.
No 6 LUMBERJACK made up good ground against the bias at Wagga and has a chance.
No 4 SACAMANO won well at scone upon resumption, the step up now to 1600m suits.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 LUMBERJACK
R2 – 1.20pm. Buttsworth Industrial Supplies Benchmark 65 HANDICAP – 1000m
No 4 IDENTIC (NEXT BEST) won brilliantly on debut, this looks to be a good next step up after the debut win. Wet track shouldn’t be an issue.
No 1 WORLDLY IMPACT has been good enough in recent times and has a chance.
No 2 I’M NO PHONY didn’t handle the wet going last start, drier ground here suits.
No 3 SMILING ALL has the inside barrier and should be able to hold that and give some cheek.

No 7 BLONDE INTUITION has been trialing well leading into a debut run here.
No 9 MISS DEMI should be over the odds due to the trainer / jock combo and has trialled well.
