Hawkesbury for the Tuesday provincial meeting, small card of just seven races here with only 74 acceptances. These diluted fields aren’t helping most punters. But there is seven winners to be found. The rail is true and it played fairly last weekend for their cup meeting and the track should be in the good range.
QUADDIES (races 4-5-6-7)
Skinny Play: 2 – 4,10 – 3,4,6 - 1
Wide Play: 1,2,4,6 – 1,4,8,10 – 3,4,6,7 – 1,3,5,8
BEST BET: R1 – 5. MEMES
Next Best Bet: R2 – 6. JAPHITE
Best Roughie: R4 – 4. ADMIT
No5 MEMES (BEST BET) Absolutely bolted in when resuming from a spell at Kembla and ran really fast time for the day there. King is riding in great form at the moment and is still claiming 1.5kgs which is a great asset and this horse should be winning.
No3 MARROCK has trialled well coming into the first-up run here. On his home track he should run well.
No1 WORLDLY IMPACT again found no luck last start. This is starting to become a bit of trend with this horse, hopefully the big track should help.
No2 COCKLES just missed in a driving finish last start in what is an ok race for that grade, he should run well here.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 MARROCK
No6 JAPHITE (NEXT BEST BET) comes out of a good race last start which will hold up form wise. They ran really good time relative to the older horses that day. Collett teams up with his dad here and they are striking pretty well at the minute.
No8 SECRET PEDRILLE ran well enough last start to be a chance here, they ran a quite nippy last 600m there and that gives her a chance here.
No7 MISS BREFFNI has trialled in good fashion leading into a first-up run. She is trained on the track and that’s her advantage here.
No1 BOBBING debuts on the home track here and has been trialing up well enough to have a chance here.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 BOBBING
No2 STREET PURSUIT
No4 DROP THE HAMMER
No6 MISS AMERICAN COD
No8 BINT SNITZEL
VALUE RUNNER: No6 MISS AMERICAN COD
No2 KING VIV won in good fashion when resuming from a spell. He should take good improvement from that run and take that next step here.
No4 ADMIT (BEST ROUGHIE) comes out of an ok race last start and gets the senior on board again here, he looks to lead them up and should be hard to run down.
No6 HUTCHO was behind King Viv last start and wasn’t too bad, it looks a good race, but I don’t see the tables being turned here.
No1 ASKED TO LEAVE was good enough last start at Gosford, he closed off well in a small field and the step to 1300m suits.
VALUE RUNNER: No4 ADMIT
No10 OUR ANNIVERSAIRE
No8 LADY CHALFONT
VALUE RUNNER: No1 CELEBRATOR
No6 OUR VENTURA
No4 LADY SANSA
No7 ZIJIN CHENG
VALUE RUNNER: No7 ZIJIN CHENG
No8 FROM PENTRIDGE
No5 THUNDER ROAD
VALUE RUNNER: No8 FROM PENTRIDG
