Back to Ipswich for a Wednesday meeting which has been transferred from Eagle Farm. It means it is an above average standard midweek meeting with some handy horses engaged. The rail is out five metres but the track has been playing fairly and all runners should get a chance.

QUADDIES (races 5,6,7,8)

Skinny Play: 1,2/25/5,8/10

Wide Play: 1,2,3,6/2,4,5,7/4,5,8,9/2,5,8,10

BEST BET: R1 – 1. HEART OF AUSTRALIA

Next Best Bet: R3 – 6. SHERRIN THE LOVE

Best Roughie: R5 – 6. PARDOE

R1 – 12.02pm. Cup Day June 17 Fillies and Mares Maiden - 1200m.

No1 HEART OF AUSTRALIA (BEST BET) It isn't often we make a special in a fillies and mares maiden but Heart of Australia looks very hard to beat on form. She has run second at her past two starts and probably should have won both. She also has a 3kgs claim which means she is in very well at the weights and has a perfect barrier draw.

No3 PRUE'S ANGEL First starter bred for speed who has not had an official trial but has had a jump out. The stable has a lot of success for the stud which owns her.

No6 MELQUICHA First starter who was second in a Sunshine Coast trial when not asked to do much. Has a bad barrier but some chance here.

No8 SPLASH OF CRISTAL Former South Australian mare who was fair only start this area. Might be improved by that run and this is weak apart from the top one.

VALUE RUNNER: No3 PRUE'S ANGEL

R2 – 12.37pm. MARQUEE TIX SELLING FAST Colts, Geldings and Entires Maiden Handicap - 1200m.

No3 PRINCE OF TIE His two runs back from a long spell have been very good and looked the winner until last 100m when second here last start. Hard to beat from ideal barrier draw.

No1 CHRONOLOGICAL Has some solid form for a race like this and placed twice last campaign in similar company. Should race well fresh with an apprentice's claim here.

No2 LIMESTONE COWBOY Former Melbourne trained galloper having his first start this area. Has been placed four times in better races than this. We would have made him top tip but barrier no help at first start on this tight track.

No5 WOLF TALES He will be big odds here but we liked his run when third at only start at Warwick. Probably should have run second to a horse who has won again since.

VALUE RUNNER: No5 WOLF TALES

R3 – 1.12pm. Beach Party On Sale Class 3 Handicap - 1510m.

No6 SHERRIN THE LOVE (NEXT BEST BET) Two wins and a second around this distance range at the Sunshine Coast of late. Races on the pace which is an advantage this track in these type of races and has a light weight with a claim for an in-form apprentice.

No1 TROIS CHOIX Has been very consistent without winning and didn't have a lot of luck when third here in a stronger race last week. Each-way again.

No3 BRINGIT Had no luck at all when fast finishing second from last at Grafton at his last start. He won't want to get so far back on this track but with luck can win.

No2 MANDRYKA Has shown potential as a stayer and good effort first-up when third at the Sunshine Coast last time. His second-up record is solid.

VALUE RUNNER: No3 BRINGIT

R4 – 1.47pm. Infield DJ Festival Class 6 Plate - 1680m.

No6 BLACKJACK BELLA We would have made her a special but she has just about worn us out with minor placings four of past five starts. Always seems to find one just a bit better but she is very well placed at the Plate weight scale and this distance is ideal.

No8 I'M BELUCCI Another who is well placed at the Plate weight scale as he has twice been placed in elite Group 1 company. But he has had problems and nearly got run over by the ambulance at his first start back. Will go better here.

No1 BENICO'S PRINCE He has been racing in top form with wins his past three starts including one this track. He is getting up in the weights but too honest to leave out of the chances.

No9 STEAMIN’ Has been plugging away and never far from the place money. Nicely placed here and could spring a surprise without shocking.

VALUE RUNNER: No9 STEAMIN’

R5 – 2.22pm. XXX Summer Tix On Sale QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap - 1100m.

No3 EXCELEBRAZIONE He isn't very big but does have a strong engine as he showed with some good runs last campaign. He was unruly his first start but then close up to handy horses his next two starts. Top jockey Jeff Lloyd has taken the ride which is a good pointer.

No6 PARDOE (BEST ROUGHIE) Made short work of a maiden field at Warwick last start when showed blistering pace. Drawn the rail here and while this is tough he should get the run of the race.

No2 CLAIRVUE Ran some nice races in Saturday two-year-old company before a spell. His trainer has always said he would be much better and stronger at second campaign and demands respect on that.

No1 ARRESTAR He is a Saturday two-year-old winner at Eagle Farm and he trialled nicely at the Gold Coast for his comeback. Good enough to run in the Magic Millions Classic last start.

VALUE RUNNER: No6 PARDOE

R6 – 2.57pm. Buy Now 1866 On The Green Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 2 Handicap - 1010m.

No5 SNIPETRON Former South Australian galloper who romped in at only local start at the Sunshine Coast after showing a lot of pace. The trainer made mass gear changes on him and they seem to have worked. Hard to beat here.

No2 THE AMBASSADORE Has generally been a disappointment after showing early potential. But a handy run first-up in far stronger company at Doomben gives him a hope here.

No4 MADIBA He was minor placed at three runs before a spell and had little luck in any of them. Resuming here without a barrier trial but first-up record is good.

No7 CLOUD CONSORT Has been racing most consistently in the northern rivers without winning. Each-way claims again here.

VALUE RUNNER: No4 MADIBA

R7 – 3.35pm. River Link Fashions on the Field Fillies and Mares Class 2 - 1010m.

No4 CRIQUETTE She looked like being a superstar but has had a lot of injury problems. At first start for 18 months was well beaten in a Saturday stakes race. But this is far easier and at her best would win by six-lengths.

No8 DAVE’S VALOR Showed a lot of pace to win 1000m race at Eagle Farm before a spell. Just tired last 100m when fourth at Sunshine Coast first-up and fitter.

No9 RUMBA QUEEN She raced in much better company last campaign and was far from disgraced. No trial for comeback but did win first-up last campaign.

No5 PLUCKY GIRL very good in first campaign with two wins and two seconds from four starts. She is handy but we were not thrilled with her recent trial. Then again, stable never ask their horses to do much in trials.

VALUE RUNNER: No8 DAVE’S VALOUR

R8 – 4.12pm. Channel 7 Class 5 Hcp -1200m.

No8 SHIPWRECKED Strong trial winner and then good second at comeback run in Toowoomba. Last start had every chance in a stronger race at Doomben but wasn't far out of the money and much better placed here.

No5 MAGNUS COR Promising galloper who can strike trouble when gets back in her races. But a lot closer on the turn when won here last time and chance again.

No10 LOTHARIO He is better known as a miler/middle distance horse but two runs at 1200m since a spell have been good. Kept fresh for this and will be running on strongly.

No2 VIENNA ROYALE It has been a while between wins but two runs from a spell in stronger races have been okay. This is easiest race for some time.

VALUE RUNNER: No10 LOTHARIO
