QUADDIES (races 4-5-6-7)
Skinny Play: 9,10 – 5,8 – 1,2,8 - 3
Wide Play: 3,7,9,10 – 5,6,8 – 1,2,8,9,11,12 – 3,6,2
BEST BET: R1 – No8 BOOROOJ
Best Roughie: R2 – 5. MATRIX
R1 – 12.50pm. Casino Prince @ Vinery Handicap - 1100m.
No5 NEWBURGH comes out of a good race on debut behind Menari, the form should hold up well and he has trialled well.
No1 GAULOIS is yet to live up to the early hype surrounding him, but has put in some good performances. Up to his best he goes close.
No6 SEAWATCH has been trialing in good fashion coming into a debut run and should perform well.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 NEWBURGH
R2 – 1.25pm. TAB.com.au Plate - 1550m.
No1 STAR OF MONSOON what needs to be said that we haven’t said, has ability is scared of the line.
No5 MATRIX (BEST ROUGHIE) has been running well in weaker races and getting out to 1550m here suits, Williams is starting to fire with his team.
No6 QUEEN OF HEIGHTS was probably a touch flat second-up from a spell, gets out to 1550m now and that suits.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 MATRIX
R3 – 2.05pm. Ranvet Handicap - 1900m.
No7 ESTIKHRAAJ was probably a touch flat second-up from a spell when 1400m-1600m second-up. Now to 1900m third-up he has his chance.
No2 THE GAVEL was well backed and dominated the race last start, he stays at the same distance here and looks to get all favors again.
No6 COLLATERAL was strong when winning last start at Gosford, this is a step up, but Baker is really placing his horses well.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 COLLATERAL
R4 – 2.40pm. TAB Handicap - 1250m.
No9 SEVENTHCHIC was solid enough first-up, now second up from a soft gate for Bowman she has her chance.
No7 THE CHEETAH won in good style and good time fresh at Hawkesbury, the worry is Team Hawkes aren’t firing at the moment.
No3 PASSAGE OF TIME drops well in grade here after what was a disappointing run when fav last time.
VALUE RUNNER: No10 PEACEFUL SEA
R5 – 3.15pm Schweppes Handicap - 1550m.
No8 MATE STORY comes out of good races at his first two starts, Dubios places his horses in races they can win and should be respected wherever they turn up.
No6 STREET PURSUIT looks the likely leader here, but is quickly up to 1550m, if he gets pressured in front he may be found wanting late.
No3 LEUCURA was good in winning the Parkes Cup last start, N Heywood is riding well at the minute and will have extra motivation here to win one for his dad.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 MATE STORY
R6 – 3.50pm. Bowermans Office Furniture Handicap - 1100m.
No2 SECRET TRAIL drops out of Saturday grade where she wasn’t disgraced first-up, this is weaker and she should be improved.
No1 HOT HIT was good enough at Scone in a good race, I want to see him do it again here. He is well weighted.
No11 BLOWING KISSES drops well in grade here and should find this much easier, she needs to get her confidence back.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 INVINCIBLE GEORGE
R7 – 4.25pm. TAB Rewards Handicap - 1250m.
No6 LOVE’S A FANTASTY is low flying this time in and has found a race in which she can have the last shot at them.
No2 MAGNAJOY first up she was 5.3L off Bonny O'Reilly. Will be fitter here and with Adkins' claim she can be right in this.
