R6 – 3.00pm. The Bottle – O BM70 Handicap – 1600m.
No8 DANGLE LAD (BEST BET) is most honest and notched a brilliant win over 1600m at Sandown last start on May 10. Top apprentice Jordan Childs rides again and he drops a kilo 50 57kg here. He was backed from $9 into $6 last start and expect strong support here from his great gate in five. At six starts over this distance has three wins two seconds and a third.
No4 HOUDINI THE GREAT should relish the drop in class on some tough races lately.
No1 BEE JAY ZED is capable on his best form. Has claims.
No7 RISING HOPE is a stablemate to Houdini The Great. Likes this distance and give a show.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 RISING HOPE
R7 – 3.30pm. Pooles Accountants Golden Topaz – 1200m.
No3 STELLAR COLLISION (NEXT BEST BET) was 15th down the straight six at Flemington last start on May 20. Would draw a line through and put down to an aberration. He can bounce back here with top jockey Dean Yendall to ride for leading trainer Darren Weir and back around a bend. He has an unblemished record of one start for one win at this track and can atone.
No1 THERMAL CURRENT stablemate to Stellar Collision and is a worthy opponent.
No4 DEMONSTRATE was held up last time down the straight-six at Flemington.
No2 TRIED AND TIRED big run down the straight-six and is unbeaten at two starts here.
VALUE RUNNER: No2 TRIED AND TIRED
R8 – 4.00pm. Cadd Constructions 3YO BM70 Handicap – 1200m.
No1 MOONLITES CHOICE gets a nice drop in class here. Latest she ran a solid fifth down the straight-six at Flemington on May 20. Her previous form at Caulfield was rock solid and she is back to the country here. Top jockey Dean Yendall rides from gate five.
No3 CAPE SOUNION Absolutely blazed his rivals when posting a 5 length win at Castemaine in a 1200m maiden on May 29. He has finished in the money at all three of his starts and he gets top jockey Andrew Mallyon as his new pilot. Lots to like.
No8 MR SINATRA Romped away to a 3 length win in a maiden over 1200m at Kilmore on May 18. Group 1 winning jockey Damian Lane keeps the ride for top trainer Darren Weir and he can cope with the rise in class here. Pay to respect.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 GOUGERS
R9 – 4.30pm. Jarrod Arentz Electrical & Solar Solutions BM78 Handicap – 1200m
No7 LIKA SHADOW comes to this track off a clever win at Echuca over 1000m on May 28. That effort was fresh from a spell but his record second up is okay and he should be at a bit of odds. Popular jockey Harry Coffey rides here.
No3 FLORAL FEVER was elevated to city class when running fifth over 1200m at Morphettville on May 20. That was a most sound effort and back into the country he gets his chance to flourish. Gest a nice run from gate four and has Andrew Mallyon to ride.
No11 MR COOLEY (BEST ROUGHIE) form on outer provincial tracks has been top class with a brilliant win at Kilmore two starts ago. Apprentice Jessica Eaton’s 3kg claim drops his weight to a mere 51kg. With no weight on his back he makes each-way appeal.
VALUE RUNNER: No11 MR COOLEY
