No3 MURPHY’S REWARD (BEST BET) looks at the top of his game with a win at Pakenham before running a solid second over the same course on a Heavy 9 on May 30. Leading apprentice Jake Bayliss rides but he cannot use his claim and he carries the full 60kg. He likes the synthetic and should prove hard to beat here.
No2 SASAYURI bolted away to an easy win here last start, but is up in class and gets a novice apprentice.
No1 BIG REEL ran steady last start but the big weight on 62.5kg is a query.
No5 TRIS she is a stablemate to Murphy’s Reward and gives the yard a strong hand.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 TRIS
No6 MY AIM IS TRUE is a three-year-old filly who looks to be knocking on the door with successive placings. Latest finished a good third over 1200m at Pakenham on May 30. She gets top apprentice Beau Mertens to ride and respect.
SCRATCHED No2 DREAM FIRST was outclassed by the winner first-up but gave a solid effort to run second over 1000m here on June 2. Stephen Baster stays on board but the wide alley in 16 is a hindrance to her chances.
No10 MISS MAGDA won over 1200m in similar company three starts ago at Kyneton. Latest she ran a sound fifth over 1200m against her own sex at Pakenham on May 30. She gets Ben Melham to ride and is a good chance.
No1 DANGEROUS BREEDING has been placed at her past two starts in similar company. Latest was easy in the betting at $7 before finishing a close third over 1200m here on June 9. With Melissa Julius’ 2kg claim she carries 58kg.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 DANGEROUS BREEDING
No5 MOVIE (BEST ROUGHIE) has flopped at her two starts on bog tracks so would forget her first-up start when finishing last of eight over 1000m at Pakenham on May 31. She has a great record on the synthetic of four starts for a win and three placings.
No10 CANALASSO fought on gamely all the way to the post when finishing a close second over 1300m here last start on June 2. The three-year-old won at his previous start over 1200m at Pakenham and he has a record of a win and two placings at three starts on the synthetic.
No7 VALDERRAMA blasted his rivals by 5 lengths here over 1200m on June 2. Has an amazing record of three wins and a placing at four starts on the synthetic but he is up in class here. He is capable of coping with the rise.
No6 TIZSO WICKED struck a bog track when finishing sixth over 1200m at Pakenham on May 31. She had won at her successive starts at Cranbourne prior to that. Loves this track and goes well on the synthetic.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 TIZSO WICKED
No6 ROUEN (NEXT BEST BET) is an evergreen galloper racing very well. He was a fighting winner over 1300m here two starts ago before finishing third over 1300m here on June 2. He gets Jye McNeil to ride, but goes up to 60kg for his drop in class here. He likes the synthetic track and can combat is wide alley in 15.
No2 CARRAIG AONAIR has the blinkers removed and has top junior Beau Mertens to ride.
No1 AUTONOMOUS has been in fine form and on his last start win warrants here.
No5 HIGH DIAMIONDS saves his best for the synthetic and is worth novelty thought.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 HIGH DIAMONDS
