With fine weather forecast the track should be perfect for racing with a Good 4 rating.
The rail will be out to nine metres. This week they race on the grass after running on the synthetic track last Friday.
It is a big card of nine races ahead here and a few tough ones along the journey.

No3 THE RICH FISHER (BEST BET) bounced back from a break with a strong win over 1590m at Wangaratta on June 6. Now that he has struck winning form he usually keeps it and he gets the up and coming Lachlan King to ride. King’s 2kg claim drops his weight down to a comfortable 58kg. He is nicely drawn in seven and he loves this distance.
No6 ALL DAY EVERY DAY has been ultra-consistent and looms as the main danger.
No10 YULONG XIONG HU Won his maiden over 1600m two starts ago and back down from 2000m.
No1 RUBME is chasing a hat-trick here and must rate with claims on 60kg.
VALUE RUNNER: No10 YULONG XIONG HU
No8 ASSERTIVE STAR has the in-form Daniel Stackhouse replacing Dean Hollands. He sustained a long run to claim a narrow victory over 2400m at Bendigo on June 3. He carried 60kg that day and drops a kilo to 59kg here. Makes good appeal.
No3 JIMIVAG will strip fitter now with a run over the journey under his belt. Ran a solid fifth in a bunched finish over 2100m at Swan Hill on June 11. He gets Luke Currie to ride here and looms with each-way claims.
No10 WELCOME STRYKER (BEST ROUGHIE) is back in his right class here after lifted to Flemington where he was outgunned finishing eighth over 1800m on June 10. He gets top Irish jockey John Allen to ride and will be settled nicely to finish on.
No12 DUSTY MAMBA was stepped up to 2000m for the first time last start when finishing fifth at Warracknabeal on May 27. He is going to strip fitter now and with Melissa Julius’ 2kg claim will carry on 56.5kg
VALUE RUNNER: No12 DUSTY MAMBA
No1 BEALE STREET is running red hot and searching for a third straight win here. Has copped a 2kg penalty for his last win over 1400m at Sale on June 1. Keeps on finding that bit extra very time and has regular rider Matthew Allen to ride again.
No11 ANOTHER BULLSEYE scored a maiden win at Geelong four starts ago. Was turned out for a well-deserved spell after finishing 15th over 1400m at Sandown on November 12. She is a lightly-raced three-year-old filly with upside.
No7 MAXEY CAMPO faced an absolute bog when finishing second over 1200m at Warrnambool on June 5. He gets top jockey Andrew Mallyon to steer here. Has yet to finish outside of the money at his three starts.
No6 KOTINOS won his maiden here in good style two starts ago. Then finished third over 1200m on a bog track at Warrnambool on June 5. Jockey Noel Callow rides and from barrier one should get a cosy position.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 KOTINOS
