Kembla Grange (Saturday) Betting Preview & Tips
Betting tips for every race at Kembla Grange. Today’s best bet is in race 4
Kembla Grange for our Saturday provincial meeting in New South Wales. We have eight races on the card to cover and with the recent rain, we have a surprisingly dry track as Kembla has been flooded in recent months. We will be on soft going and the rail is true.

R3 – 12.54pm. DUCK CREEK DASH 2YO MAIDEN HANDICAP - 1000m.
No4 SOVIET was fav on debut in a good race and pulled up with some issues. The trials have been quite good and at his second prep he has his chance.
No6 CHOICE HARVEST (BEST ROUGHIE) has been trialing in good order coming into the first-up run here. On debut I am forgiving as it was raining sideways during the race and you can hardly knock a horse on that
SCRATCHED No3 EVICT is also in at Randwick and has his chance to win if he turns up here.
No10 SPEEDWAY has trialled in good order coming to the debut run and gets a good run on the map here.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 CHOICE HARVEST
R4 – 1.32pm. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANT RYAN BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP - 1000m.
No4 BROOK MAGIC (BEST BET) belted them at the track and distance when resuming from a spell for what was a very smart win, in solid time. Now she steps quickly to BM60 level which is usually a tough ask. But she looks a Saturday class horse and should handle them.
No3 RIBANDS has been doing a good job at country level and loves the 1000m. He will have the last shot at them.
No9 DON FRANCO found the line well last start in a similar sort of race and has a good 1000m record.
No13 TAPAVINO trialled well behind Philosophy in the lead up to a fresh run and should be respected off that.
VALUE RUNNER: No13 TAPAVINO
R5 – 2.09pm. SIMON PAPESCH MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP - 1200m.
No3 PENSKE (NEXT BEST BET) was a touch disappointing second-up when getting rolled at $1.70 at Warwick Farm. The trial since was quite good and I like the step to 1200m now as Johan can cross and control the speed, and if he does that they won't get near him.
No2 RUTHLESS AGENT drops out of a good race last start and comes back to 1200m which should suit him much better.
No1 COOLOTTA got the job done well at Wagga last start, he has a good record there but struggles to replicate it elsewhere.
No5 MIDNIGHT RIDE comes out of a good form race last start and drops back to the 1200m which is suitable.
VALUE RUNNER: No2 RUTHLESS AGENT
R6 – 2.49pm. MARCO POLO AGED CARE SERVICES BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP - 1400m.
No6 MACKELLAR’S LOVE should be improved for the first-up run. Getting out to 1400m now suits as she is a winner at the T&D in the past.
No5 IT’S A NEW DAY was good when resuming without a trial, now to 1400m suits and he should be improved.
No4 BRAD THE LAD drops in grade here after a solid effort last start and he is adept in all going.
No1 WEEKEND AFFAIR won his maiden well last start and now looks to take the next step here, Coyle is flying at the moment and his horses have to be respected.
VALUE RUNNER: No4 BRAD THE LAD
R7 – 3.29pm. ADINA APARTMENT HOTEL WOLLONGONG MAIDEN PLATE - 1400m.
