No2 FLEETING FEELING I Am Invincible $260K yearling who wasn’t asked for much in recent jump-out. From strong McEvoy stable and commands respect from good draw.


No5 LAYEL  Reward For Effort filly who trialled alongside subsequent Sandown winner She’s So High. Strong chance if she runs up to that.


No14 WHITE SLIPPER  Sebring filly who cost $230K. Had an easy time in Caulfield jump-out last week. Drawn wide but has top jockey in Luke Nolen to get her across. Keep safe.


No8 PLUM PUDDING  Raced on-pace in Caulfield jump-out last week. Has a weight advantage with Jordan Grob’s 2kg claim.



R2 – 1.00pm. Unox 3YO Fillies Maiden Plate – 1400m.

No15 VAINGLORIOUS Had city form before close first-up fourth 1140m Geelong June 23. Fitter now and will go close.


No2 EXPLOSIVE EVIE  Placed last three runs and fitter for recent racing. Hard to beat.


SCRATCHED No7 LITTLE MISS TOFFEE  Improved by two runs this campaign and solid second Vladivostok Sale 1419m last Sunday. Drawn wide but could pay to stick with her.


No12 PRETTY MAMA Not suited by sprint home last start. Revved-up for this with recent Flemington jump-out. Likely improver with a genuine pace.



R3 – 1.30pm. Mega Trim Motor Trimming Maiden Plate – 1600m.

No7 SCENSAY (NEXT BEST BET) Getting near the money and looks ideally suited at second run at the “mile”. Game second Star Major 1400m Sale Maiden Soft5 June 1 then held up on turn when length second The Big Sur 1617m Sale Maiden Good3 June 18. Carries same weight here and looks the testing material.


No14 JUSTICE FAITH Strong-looking colt who was doing best work late when debut eighth Houston Street 1300m Wangaratta. Likely improver.


No11 MORE BUBBLES Relished step up in distance when photo second 1540m Geelong June 23. Should be in the money.


SCRATCHED No12 MY PEARL Had support first two starts and should be kept safe again.

No10 DARDANIA  Impressive debut fourth Canterbury Walk Pakenham June 13 and will be greatly improved for this. Promising type from powerful stable and suited by longer trip.


No13 REDROUZ Has shown plenty of fight in three runs and should keep getting to the line over the longer trip here.


No12 MADAM STOWELL Placed last three runs and well-drawn to break through.


No6 RIDGWAY Odds-on fav when fourth Poetic Ray Warrnambool Heavy8 June 25. Chance with better track conditions.



R5 – 2.30pm. BM70 Handicap – 2025m.

No2 ARCHERY PEAK (BEST BET) Got too far back when ninth Azurite 2400m Sandown Hillside last Wednesday. Impressive winner 2200m Pakenham Synthetic June 8 and will be ridden closer here. Blinkers go on and so does Damien Oliver. The one to beat.


No5 KING VALOUR Has been knocking on the door in recent runs and goes well this track.


No3 MOMENTARY Model of consistency who will be in the money again.


No8 MAPPING Improved by recent racing and this distance is ideal.



R6 – 3.00pm. Procon Developments F&M BM64 Handicap – 1600m.

No4 AVERY  Was given a good hit-out when close first-up 13th Darcy’s Law 1300m Wangaratta Good 4 June 22. Fitter now and will relish the distance here.


No6 CITRUS WISH Raced well in Brisbane before returning with easy four-length win this distance Moe 0-58BM first-up June 24. Chance with further improvement.


No3 SHANDAARA Freshened since fourth Chartlton 2200m Pakenham Synthetic May 30. Won 2200m Pakenham and 2050m Wodonga two previous runs. Respect.


No5 MY GYPSY JANE Fitter for recent racing and should be doing best work late.



R7 – 3.30pm. F&M BM64 Handicap – 1200m.

No5 SWAMPLAND Turned in eye-catching runs before striking trouble early when sixth Pedrena 1400m Flemington June 10. Will find this grade more suitable and will take tossing.


SCRATCHED No6 NO MONEY NO HONEY  Tassie stable makes a habit of pillaging Victorian races and this smart sprinter commands respect. Won 1400m Hobart Maiden Feb. 5 then 1400m Launceston C1` Soft5 Feb. 22. Wide draw is main concern.


SCRATCHED No8 ALVILDA Two wins and six placings from last eight starts suggest a strong first-up showing here. Drawn perfectly to figure in the finish.


No3 OUR TURN Best races over slightly longer journeys but is nice and fresh for this. Won 1400m Werribee and Pakenham before sixth Riyadh Pakenham. Chances enhanced by wet track.



R8 – 4.00pm. O'Brien Real Estate – 13000 OBRIEN Class 1 Handicap – 1400m.

No7 LUCKY BEAU Had no luck when game 1.7-length third Iron Machine, Fast And Furious 1400m C1 Ballarat Soft 6 June 15. Meets Fast And Furious 1kg better here and should turn the tables with a fairer run in transit.


SCRATCHED No1 RESET ME I’M WILD  Impressive debut win over Spanish Reef 1400m Pakenham Synthetic 3YO Maiden June 13 and should be improved with that experience. Rises 2kg here.


No5 FUSE  Showed good improvement third-up when second Frankincense 1400m Pakenham BM64 June 8. Will be at peak for this and drawn to get the gun run.


No10 FAST AND FURIOUS  Box-seated when game length second Iron Machine 1400m Ballarat C1 Soft 6 June 15. Won this track and distance two runs earlier and rates a chance again.



R9 – 4.30pm. Unox BM70 Handicap – 1000m.

No13 WHAT CHOUX WANT Had sound form in top company in NZ and looks nicely placed here first-up. Beaten 2.8-lengths when sixth Saracino 1400m Trentham Wellington Guineas Soft track March 18. Blinkers go on here so expect a strong showing fresh.


No12 STRYKINGLEE Placed last three including close second Gibbon 1000m Pakenham Heavy9 May 31. Gibbon has franked that for by winning in town. Will make her presence felt.


SCRATCHED No4 ROYALIC Former Perth sprinter having first start for powerful Hayes-Dabernig stable. Close-up five runs since winning hat-trick. Recent stable history with WA horses suggests a forward showing first-up.


No11 ROCKETS RED GLARE Two runs since being gelded have been top-notch on soft and heavy going. Should have conditions to suit again here.
