Kembla Grange is the provincial meeting for Sydney racing this Saturday. We have eight races on the card with good weather in the offering, we will be on a good surface and the rail is true.
QUADDIES (races 5-6-7-8)
Skinny Play: 7 - 1,6 - 2,4,5 - 4,5
Wide Play: 7,8,9 - 1,2,6,10 - 2,4,5,6 - 4,5,7,8
BEST BET: R2 – 12. ORDOS HONOR
Next Best Bet: R5 – 7. TIVOLI STREET
Best Roughie: R1 – 7. HULEO
No9 IBANEZ gets the chance to breakthrough here in what looks to be a weak race. The form out of the race at Bathurst should hold up.
No7 HULEO (BEST ROUGHIE) is a 7yo mare having her first start. She looks to have trialled well. But a rising 8yo on debut has to be a worry.
No1 CHIEF KIDDDER has trialled well coming into the fresh run and has ok enough form.
No4 BABY JIVE is a betting watch here as the trials have been soft and she is coming out of a betting stable.
VALUE RUNNER: No7 HULEO
No12 ORDOS HONOR (BEST BET) didn’t have the best of luck last start at Canterbury and now drops to a provincial maiden here. 1200m and the big open spaces of Kembla are going to suit him here. From gate 12 Buckley will need to find a spot early however.
No13 SPEEDWAY getting out to 1200m is going to suit her here. From gate 7 she isn’t going to be hustled early and will get the drop on them.
No9 TONY’S REWARD has trialled in good fashion coming into a debut run here and needs to be respected.
No7 SEVERENCE has racetrack experience and has trialled well coming into a second preparation here.
VALUE RUNNER: No13 SPEEDWAY
No4 SONGS OF EARTH
No2 TRUST WHO
VALUE RUNNER: No6 LIFFY
No8 IT’S A NEW DAY
No1 MOST EXALTED
VALUE RUNNER: No1 MOST EXALTED
No7 TIVOLI STREET (NEXT BEST BET) has let punters down in recent times, but gets to a big open track here and a drier deck. Dropping from midweek level to provincials gives him that chance to breakthrough. He is going to get a good run from barrier 3 and looks hard to beat.
No8 BUGEISHA has good form around her, and trained on the track by Gwenda needs to be respected.
No10 GAYTIME GIRL has been doing a good enough job as of late and drops out of good form races for this.
No9 CANBERRA has trialled in good order coming into a fresh run here and the starting point of 1400m looks ideal.
VALUE RUNNER: No10 GAYTIME GIRL
No1 LEVEL EIGHT
No6 OUR BEATNIK
No10 LUCKY LEGEND
No2 MIAMI DADE
VALUE RUNNER: No10 LUCKY LEGEND
No6 RAISE THE LIMIT
VALUE RUNNER: No4 GRAVITATE
No4 MY FRIEND CHARLIE won well last start at the track and distance and drew away for what was a strong win. This isn’t much stronger and he looks hard to beat.
No5 LAW MAJOR should be much fitter now second-up after a strong run on the speed last start. He dropped out late but was entitled to, this is weaker.
No7 MEGALOPOLIS found the line well enough last start and should be further improved now staying at 2000m.
No8 HIGHLEIGH comes out of a good race last start and now drops to provincial level and the step to 2000m / a bigger track suit.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 HIGHLEIGH
