Impressive previous start before let-up when she got home strongly to beat Jester Jewel with 57kg 1300m Geelong Synthetic May 9. Fitter now and the step up to 1400m will be tailor-made. Craig Williams goes on here and that’s a strong pointer.

No5 BLUE TYCOON Chased home Overstep and Invincible Al down the Flemington Straight 1100m Good 4 with 54kg June 24. Had been close-up in previous runs Moonee Valley, Caulfield and this track and Beau Mertens should be able to get good cover to ensure he runs the extra distance here.
No12 SEA THE SPARKLE Resuming and will go well fresh. Won first two starts impressively before failing in a strong Flemington 1700m with 58.5kg Nov. 3. Big, strong individual who would have furnished further during her spell. Has plenty of ability and will take tossing.

Took on Group company last campaign and is appreciating the drop back in grade this time in. Will strip even fitter here and bound to make his presence felt.
No10 HE’S A MORAL Trialled the winner throughout and chased tenaciously for photo second to Tango Rock 1200m Ballarat BM70 Good4 with 57.5kg June 29. Runs a lot of seconds but Craig Williams goes on here and he should get into a striking position from barrier 1.
No1 PARWAN PRINCE Honest type with two wins and four placings from last six starts who should provide value again here. Ran 1.65-length first-up third Gibbon 1000m Pakenham BM70 Heavy9 May 21 then fought off all challengers to beat Purrpussful 1140m Geelong BM70 Good4 with 59kg June 23. Had tough run when 2.15-length fourth Zolani 1400m Pakenham Synthetic BM64 June 8 then worked home nicely for 1.5-length second Momentary similar event June 25. Drops 1kg on last two runs and back to Mares company here.

VALUE RUNNER: No11 SWEET MELODY
SCRATCHED No8 BOLOSSOMO (BEST ROUGHIE) Drew wide when placed only two runs last campaign and should land in the box seat here first-up. Worked home well when debut second Strictly Legit 1000m Mornington Dec. 26 then battling third Dame Vassa 57kg 1209m Yarra Valley 3YO Fillies Maiden Jan. 10. Prominent in recent Flemington jump-out so should be primed for this.
