No3 AS IT LIES Impressive effort on debut when she worked hard early to sit outside the leader and hit lead inside final 200m when close second Fleeting Feeling 1000m Cranboune July 6. Showed plenty of fight first-up and is bound to be improved. Only goes around one bend from the 1000m start which offsets the wide gate.
No4 CROWN WITNESS On debut and drawn to advantage. Wasn’t knocked about in recent Caulfield jump-out. Keep safe.
No5 ELLE STREET Not disgraced in two runs since beating Royal Disguise 1100m Wangaratta Filllies’ Maiden on debut June 6. Caught wide and had tough run when 6.5-length seventh Smart Coupe 1200m Lakeside track here two weeks ago. Blinkers go on here so forward showing expected.

No3 BOWERMAN Snitzel colt who has joined the red-hot Hayes/Dabernig stable since running on well for debut third Khan, Condor Heroes 1000m Randwick Breeders’ Plate Good4 Oct. 1. Big lump of a colt who would have benefitted greatly from solid hit-out in recent Flemington trial. Rates highly.
SCRATCHED No5 STAR HILLS Had moderate support on debut when he sprinted clear final 150m to easily beat Liu Bei 1002m Donald Soft7 July 8. Couldn’t have been more impressive on debut and will be further improved with that run. Should measure up to the stiffer company here.
No4 HOLY BLADE Won on debut 975m Swan Hill 2Yr Maiden Soft 5 June 10 then slowly away and doing best work late when two-length fourth Elite Legacy 1000m Hillside track here June 28. Will be better with blinkers on here and also has Craig Williams in the saddle.

Is crying out for more ground and gets the distance to suit here with Beau Mertens to ride.
No2 MR SINATRA model of consistency but drawn wide here. Ran third to subsequent Caulfield winner Moonlites Choice Swan Hill before winning Ballarat C1 1200m June 29. Respect.

Jordan Grobb’s 3kg claim brings her in nicely at the weights.
No10 OCEAN MAGIC Had to cart the field after the tearaway leader when dogged 2.45-length fourth Miss Magda 1400m Lakeside track here similar grade July 12. Fitter for two runs since winning 1300m Geelong Maiden May 9 and should handle the rise in trip.
SCRATCHED No5 BELLARIA Got well out of her ground early when 4.8-length eighth Miss Magda with 58.5kg 1400m Lakeside track here last Wednesday. On the way up and extra distance is in her favour.
No1 RIVER GODDESS Meets Summer Glen on same terms for one length when sixth Spanish Reef 1600m Rivette Series Final Flemington July 8. Two wins and a second from previous three starts suggest she will be in the finish again.

No10 MULINELLO Improved by three runs this campaign and should be at peak for this. Favourite when 4.25-length third with 59.5kg Quartermaster 2100m Gosford BM65 May 25 then battled back strongly for 2.5-length third Sir Van Dyke 2000m Mornington with 59kg BM64 June 12. From a strong stable and must be respected with 3kg drop here.
SCRATCHED No8 MOMENTARY Circled the field to beat Crafty Devil 1600m Pakenham Synthetic BM64 June 25 then held up for a run when closing 1.6-length third Archery Peak 2025m Cranbourne BM70 Soft6 with 58kg July 6. Will be running on.

Meets Gibbon 2kg better here and could turn the tables.
No1 GUN CASE Classy customer who drops in grade on solid 2.1-length seventh Ability with 54kg 1100m Flemington June 24. Has won twice over this track and distance and will make his presence felt in this easier grade.
No8 GIBBON Has stormed home to win last two starts 1000m Pakenham with 57.5kg BM70 Heavy9 May 31 and in pipping Orujo BM78 this trip June 28 with 55.5kg. Racing in great form and bound to be finishing strongly again.

No4 DEMONS RUN Gets in tremendously well with Raquel Clark’s 3kg and will take catching with 51.5kg. Just failed to catch Sayed 2100m Lakeside BM78 Soft5 June 7 then set a fast tempo but nabbed on the line by Azurite with 54kg over this trip Good4 Jun2 28. Meets Azurite 2.5kg better and Kellstorm 0.5kg worse here.
SCRATCHED No3 AZURITE Tough stayer who followed a dogged 2.8-length fifth Sayed 2100m BM78 Lakeside Soft5 June 7 with gritty last-stride win over Demons Run with 55.5kg over this trip Good4 June 28. Right at his peak now and capable of going on with the good work here despite weight reversal.

Freshened up for this and drops 2kg for winning. Hard to beat again.
