Warwick Farm is our midweek meeting in Sydney this week. We have seven races on the card here in what is just a standard winter meeting. We should be on a good track which is brilliant for the middle of winter and the rail is +3m the circumference which should give on pacers a slight advantage.

SCRATCHED No3 DAHOOIL resumed in a good race last start in which the form has already held up. She should appreciate the step up to 1400m here and really attacked the line well over the 1300m and is the one to beat.
No5 SACRED EDGE looks the likely leader here and is going to give them something to chase, he backs up quickly and comes back 100m in distance.
No1 TIVOLI STREET sucked us in again last start and let us down, this race is stronger than that and he can lob into a place here.
No4 EIGHT OVER gets Bowman and has trialled well coming into the fresh run here and should appreciate 1400m fresh.
VALUE RUNNER: No5 SACRED EDGE
No2 SCHUBERT was a good winner fresh and really ran through the line beating the older horses there. He should be even fitter now and comes back to his own age group.
No1 GOLDFINCH will jump and run along here. She has been good winning at both runs this time in and beat the older horses last start and gets a good claim here.
No4 ADDICTIVE NATURE has been trialing in good order coming into a debut run here and looks to be well set up here.
No8 GOLD STANDARD is well bred and has improved trial to trial this time in. Being from the Gai yard, he is going to be ready to go on debut.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 GOLD STANDARD
SCRATCHED No5 LA CHICA BELLA drops out of a better race than this last start when running third to Arbetisam over the course and distance. She couldn’t win the way that the race was run but stuck on really well and ran right through the line. This is weaker and she is going well.
No1 LONG TIME AGO well-bred and won in good style first up. Up to 1400m second-up is a good stepping stone.
No8 PRIMAVERA comes out of the same race as La Chica Bella last start and gets a good jockey change here.
No3 RHYMES is going really well this time in and won well with a big weight last start.
VALUE RUNNER: No8 PRIMAVERA
No11 LA CHICA BELLA (NEXT BEST) drops out of a better race than this last start when running third to Arbetisam over the course and distance. She couldn’t win the way that the race was run but stuck on really well and ran right through the line she only carries 53.5 in this race too.
No6 PEPPERBERRY was quite poor last start and drops in grade here to find some form.
No3 FANTASIZE won well two back before finding the line well enough last start to be a chance here.
No8 FOURNETTE comes out of the same race last start and gets a good jockey change here.
VALUE RUNNER: No3 FANTASIZE
No4 YARRAPOWER comes out of a good race last start behind Star Crossed where the form has held up brilliantly, this is a good race for him and he gets a good run from the gate.
No6 DELUXE (BEST ROUGHIE) has been trialing well coming into a first-up run here. No first-up record to speak of, but the trials have been good.
SCRATCHED No1 KABROCCO belted them at Wagga last start and wasn’t really asked to do a lot there when winning. Big rise in grade / weight here. But he looks a nice horse.
No3 I CAN ROCK will look to run them into the ground here and has a good record at the track.
VALUE RUNNER: No6 DELUXE
No1 EL NOVIO gets this one final chance for me here. He is perfectly set up to peak. He drops in grade and gets Bowman. He has been going well enough.
No5 GO BENNY comes out of the same race as El Novio last start. The form has held up well with Collateral winning last week.
No9 MY FRIEND CHARLIE comes to the home track for the first time, this prep and has been in good form and Dubois can produce a stayer.
No11 GRAND TETON has the least convictions of this lot and gets a chance because of that, due to some “old mates” running around.
VALUE RUNNER: No9 MY FRIEND CHARLIE
No11 VANELL (BEST BET) got the job done well for followers first-up from a spell. He should be much fitter second-up from a spell, drops 2.5kgs and gets Bowman on who is hell bent on winning the premiership. He looks a promising horse.
No6 BON EQUUS backs up quickly from a good run last week at Canterbury, he really ran through the line there and looks set to peak.
No4 FORTENSKY won well last start and did it in good style, this is a step up but he won well at the provincials.
No1 NAT KING CU missed somehow in the photo last start and I don’t know how. He ran well against the bias and is in good form.
VALUE RUNNER: No 6 BON EQQUS
