Wide Play: 1,2,4,5/1,2,3,4/2,6,9,15/2,3,6,8,13

Next Best Bet: R3 – 3. EXCELEBRAZIONE

Best Roughie: R8 – 6. YABA DABL DOYA

R1 - 11.42pm. G.H. MUMM QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap - 1600m.

No4 SNAPCHAT GIRL Beat an open maiden field by five lengths and then strong win in a good race at Grafton last start. Looking for 1600m now and hard to beat despite a bad barrier.

No1 DIOMEDES Has shown plenty of ability at two races starts and strong win this track at 1350m last time gives him a chance at 1600m here.

No7 REAL PRINCESS Hasn't had much luck of late and that was in stronger races. Getting out to the right distance now and well drawn.

No5 BRANDO Forget his last start when at the tail of the field and wide in a race run at a slow pace. Go on previous races when should have nearly won at the Gold Coast. Bred to stay all day.

R2 - 12.17pm. DES LAMBART MEMORIAL CUP Benchmark 75 Handicap - 2200m.

No3 I FEEL GOOD Finished well when second this track at his last start and has been most consistent in staying races of late. Well drawn and should get the run of the race.

No1 LOVING HOME Has good Sydney form for a race like this and no luck when fifth only Brisbane start. But has got plenty of weight again. One of the main chances.

No6 BRILLIANT JET Had no luck and didn't handle the track when beaten in the Gatton Cup but showed true form with strong win at the Gold Coast last start.

No10 SPLENDID STRYKER He has won two of past three starts in country areas but this isn't much stronger and at least he can stay.

R3 - 12.52pm. FUNCTIONS @ TATTERSALLS QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap - 1110m.

No3 EXCELEBRAZIONE (NEXT BEST BET) He is still a maiden but has been placed four of six starts and has had little luck in most of them. He has a good barrier draw and a light weight after the apprentice's claim so looks hard to beat.

No1 PURE LUCK He has won his past two starts in provincial races and deserves his chance in the city. He has plenty of pace.

No6 HINGUS ROSE Good effort behind two smart horses when third this track last start. Has been consistent and deserves respect here.

No9 ZINZI Hasn't raced since winning at Eagle Farm late last year which was a strong effort. Has had two fair trials for this comeback.

R4 - 1.27pm CARLTON DRAUGHT Class 6 Handicap - 1050m.

No3 DENARIUS Smart galloper who has a history of bad luck in his races. But he won a trial well for first-up run here and usually goes well fresh.

SCRATCHED No9 WIGGLESWORTH Speedy horse who can stop just as quickly but on his day would win this. Forget last start Rockhampton failure when track too hard and go on previous Gold Coast win.

SCRATCHED No2 UPSCALE Newcastle visitor who has handy Sydney form but has struck wet tracks there of late. Has a good record at this distance and well-drawn which is essential from this start.

No11 MR HENNESSY Winner of an easier race at last start and has the inside barrier here which is a big plus. Has plenty of speed.

R5 - 2.07pm. UBET Class 3 Plate - 1200m.

No7 MALVERN ESTATE Three runs to date have been very good with two wins and a second. This is no harder than last start win at the Sunshine Coast and should go close to winning here.

No8 PINCH MOUNTAIN Good winner two starts back at the Sunshine Coast and then no luck when second at Rockhampton last time. This is ideal for him.

SCRATCHED No2 SONG ONE Good effort here when second in a harder race two weeks back. Has pace and this type of race suits very well.

SCRATCHED No9 TIME OUT OF MIND Newcastle galloper who won there two runs back and then failed in a stronger race in Sydney. The barrier is no help but has claims.

R6 – 2.47pm. STAV, ABBY AND MATT WITH OSHER'S OPEN Handicap - 1200m.

No5 SONY LEGEND Recent form has been in much harder races and has a good record this track and distance. Down in the weights and race should be run to suit.

No1 CHARLIE BOY Has raced in Group One company and not been disgraced. Last campaign in the south only fair and now with Tony Gollan in Brisbane. He has trialled solidly for his comeback.

No2 FLAMBOYER Wants a wet track to do his best but a stakes winner who gets in well here at the weights and has been freshened up for this.

No4 IRISH CONSTABULARY Has had a lot of recent racing but holding form very well. Down sharply in weights here from last-start second at the Sunshine Coast and Doomben winner previously.

R7 - 3.27pm. SKY RACING TATTERSALL'S MILE - 1600m.

No2 SHEISWHATSHEIS (BEST BET) Honest mare who won by nearly six lengths in a similar type of race. Very good around the Doomben 1600m and looks the leader again here. Rain won't hurt chances and should be hard to run down.

No1 COLOUR CHARGE Tough old gelding who has been around for a while and won a Listed race at 1600m earlier this year. Hasn't started in a month since winning the Rockhampton Cup but should be hard to beat again.

No3 CRACK ME UP Top class three-year-old who was second in an open stakes race two starts back and the won the Sunshine Coast Guineas against his own age group. He will just need some luck from the barrier.

No4 PINDAN PEARL Has had no luck at all this campaign and handy second this track and distance last start. Each-way hope here.

R8 - 4.07pm. CARLTON MID Benchmark 75 Handicap - 1350m.

No9 JACKPOT Has been very consistent since coming from Victoria and led all the way to win last time at the Gold Coast. Should be on the pace throughout this race.

No2 CORNROW Caught deep the whole way when third at Ipswich and then had little luck again when mid field Doomben next start. Drawn much better here.

No6 YABA DABL DOYA (BEST ROUGHIE) Can spring an upset and was a huge odds winner at the Sunshine Coast two runs back before no luck at all when fifth in a similar race to this last time at the Sunshine Coast.

No15 LIGHT SHOWS Beat a weak field at Ipswich but beat them well. Most consistent of late and has a light weight chance here.

R9 - 4.42pm. WINNING EDGE PRESENTATIONS QTIS Three-Years-Old Handicap - 1350m.

No2 PRIORITISE Very promising galloper with a poor draw here. He has won three of his four starts and if he has any luck from the barrier will make it four wins from five.

No13 SMART DEVIL Showed he was getting back near his best with a second at Grafton last start. Right down in the weights and on his day he is smart.

SCRATCHED No6 FABVIER Has been racing well and strong win last time at the Gold Coast. Another who needs luck from the barrier draw.

No8 RHYMING Recent from hasn't been flash but on her best with a light weight and good barrier this is the type of race she can win.
